  • A lot of desk for a giant price tag
Style: Level 20 Color: Rgb
I have a lot to say about this desk. First off, wow. This was my absolute dream desk that I've been wanting for almost 2 years and I must say, I was not disappointed. I'm doing a full Thermaltake Level 20 build and had to have it. Obviously the first thing you may notice is the price as it most certainly isn't for everybody. However, if you love RGB and need a well-built desk, this is the sturdiest height adjustable desk I've tested. Second... so I used to do in-home furniture assemblies for Amazon, IKEA and Office Depot. I've put together hundreds of desks including other electronic height-adjustable desks and I have to say, this is by far the most complicated/difficult piece of furniture I've ever assembled. I'm an assembly professional and this was not an easy or fun desk to do. I think I clocked my final assembly time with adjustments at right under 3 hours and that's considering I was very familiar with how to put something like this together. On top of that, the manual (which comes in like 4 different languages) has the smallest pictures for reference and I can assure you, if you're putting this together with manual hand tools (most are provided) and you aren't familiar with using tools in general, you'll probably spend 4 5-6 hours putting it together as it is also pretty heavy. I'm very serious, it was a major endeavor. In summary, the desk itself is awesome, lighting effects are top-notch and it really does feel expensive. I'd buy it again for sure. The one thing I would recommend is during the motorized shaft installation, you may want to plug in the controller to test that the motor will spin both sides of the shaft. I got it all put together and realized the shaft was not tight enough, causing only one side to lift which will most certainly damage to desk, so I had to unbolt the shroud that covers the shaft (its inverted so it is really difficult to unbolt 6 screws with an allen wrench) to tighten the shaft connectors adding about 30 minutes after the fact. Please note, I also do NOT recommend using power tools on any part of this desk, if you crossthread or damage any bolts or panels, you're going to have a really, really bad time. ... show more

  • Great desk, easy to assemble
Style: Level 20 Color: Black
This is a solid desk with plenty of space, which was one of the major reasons for my purchase. I have two 27" curved monitors side by side and there's still a little room on each side to place my speakers! Adjusting height on the fly isn't very practical, but being able to set it to my preferred height, especially since I have a larger, bucket seat chair, is a nice touch. And finally, the whole-desk mouse mat is good quality and very convenient. Overall, I am very happy with this desk and recommend it to others! ... show more

  • Worth the price, but put aside seven hours for assembly Worth the price, but put aside seven hours for assembly
Style: Level 20 Color: Rgb
Beautiful, sturdy RGB desk with tons of room, motorized desk adjustment and a full desk mousepad. Amazing overall product. No missing pieces or anything like that. I’m really happy and impressed with the product itself and it does justify the cost, but beware: assembly is extremely difficult and lengthy. Make sure you research ahead of time the drill bits you will need for the screws and bolts. I didn’t have any drill bits that fit their screws because they were pretty specific in size and type, so i had to use the included tools to build by hand. Also, although i did it by myself, i strongly recovered asking for someone to help you out. There’s some pretty tricky positions you have to get in in order to line up the threads with the screws, and it gets pretty tiring after a while. It took me 7 hours without a break to finish assembly. But again, the result was worth the price, the final product is very satisfactory. It just got difficult when their tutorial video started skipping over some steps and doing things differently than the small manual included ... show more

  • QA procedures at Thermaltake may need to be reassessed in regards to these tables. QA procedures at Thermaltake may need to be reassessed in regards to these tables.
Style: Level 20 Color: Black
It looked to be a great table. Unfortunately I couldn't assemble it due to one of the crossbars having screwholes that were unthreaded. The screws won't fit and now I have to either thread the holes myself, drill out the holes and buy nuts that match the screws, or go through the cumbersome return/exchange process. So close to assembling this table, yet so far away... ... show more

  • Great desk
Style: Level 20 Color: Black
I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews on this desk in the past. I really don’t know why. It is on the pricey side but, I couldn’t be more happy with it. Despite some negative reviews I bought it because of bought Thermaltake products in the past and have never been disappointed. I have their waterblock on my cpu, riing fans, tower 900 case and their lvl 20 keyboard. The desk was easy to put together, it’s incredibly sturdy. It’s got great wire management and the full length mousepad on top is good quality, no ripples in the material. Would buy again. ... show more

  • It weighs 100lbs, solid steel construction and top quality! It weighs 100lbs, solid steel construction and top quality!
Style: Level 20 Color: Black
Nothing to dislike at all I learned you get what you pay for and after couple purchases of gaming desks I decided to widen my budget and go for this one. This company knows how to make products and knows gamers well, all the features are well thought out and dimensions are perfect and on point with no plastic gimmicky crap like LEDs! Very top quality all the way down to the screw holes built into the wood underneath so you can take it apart many times, the wood is high quality little over an inch thick with huge mouse pad to cover top! Must buy! ... show more

  • It's a Thermaltake Desk!!! It's a Thermaltake Desk!!!
Style: Level 20 Color: Rgb
I got this desk during the pandemic and work from home became a thing. After using this desk for about a year and a half I will say that this is a great sit / stand desk. The price was something that really made me think twice before buying it. I will say that is definitely a niche desk for people who MUST have an RGB gaming sit/stand desk and can afford it’s really high price. I will say that this desk was not easy to put together. I ran into several issues where the pre drilled holes for screws were not aligned. On my first try I put the legs on backwards. Labeling of the parts could have been a little bit better by stamping the “L” or “R” to some of the parts. Making sure the rod that attaches to the motor took a few tries to get it working right. Even though the supplied tools were provided, I would recommend using a hammer drill when I was screwing into metal and a power drill set between 1-3 so you don’t strip the screws that need to be screwed into wood. I would then hand tighten the last part. In addition to using electric tools I did need to pull out my ½” metal drill bit to re-drill 8 holes into the metal brackets to get the screws to align correctly. There was also a loose wire to one of the LED light ropes so I did also have to pull out my soldering iron and glue gun to secure the loose wire. While struggling to get this desk put together, I did call Amazon help-desk to try and troubleshoot the issue with the misaligned screw holes and lighting issue. In the end they did give me a couple of hundred dollar discount on the desk… This convinced me to keep the desk. After all was said and done. It took me right around 6 hours to put this desk together. So after the 9 boxing rounds I went through with putting the desk together and saving some money, I put this desk to use and installed a SAMSUNG Odyssey CRG Series 49” Dual QHD Gaming Monitor (LC49RG90SSNXZA) on an Ergotron – HX Single Ultrawide Monitor Arm with HD Pivot. I also bought a Lenovo USA ThinkPad Thunderbolt 3 Dock Gen 2 135W (40AN0135US) Docking station to connect my Final mouse, Logitech Keyboard, and other peripherals. With this setup I can use just about any USB-C computer to connect to my desk. I do love the wire organizing bar under the desk to hide most of my wires and make it look a lot cleaner. All I need to do is unplug the USB-C thunderbolt cable and I’m on the go. I do have to turn off the RGB lights when I’m in meetings because the light is so bright it reflects off my clothes. When I’m doing a video conference call and forget to turn off the RGB lights people will notice the “seizure lights”. Honestly, I just leave the RGB lights off unless I’m showing the desk off to someone. I set my sitting position at 73 and my stand position at 103. These setting are perfect for when I want to either sit in my chair or stand. I love the soft matt that covers nearly the entire desktop. Overall I do like the desk but would not want to build this desk ever again. ... show more

  • Beautiful desk, worth the money? Depends on how you value money
Style: Level 20 Color: Rgb
I love the desk. The LEDs are crisp, sharp, and well saturated with color. Controlling the color is easy. The desk is the right size to hold my monitor, laptop, work laptop, books and miscellaneous stuff, without being obtrusive in the room. The whole set-up with desk and chair fits in this bay window sized area in my game room. The set-up was not obvious and in fact the first time I tried to raise the desk it didn’t work. I had not screwed in the drive shaft enough apparently, but there is no direction on how tight this should be and no direction to try to move the desk in this configuration (all would be recommended for anyone assembling later). I also didn’t appreciate the white glove delivery which left a 200 lb box at my doorstep because they refused to actually perform the service I paid for. Amazon was very understanding and refunded the white glove cost immediately. ... show more
