I love the feel of these longjohns. Slick outside, plush inside. Fits snug but not too tight. I don't like the elastic waist band; I prefer them hidden, but I fold it over and that works fine. They do make a difference in the cold. Air doesn't hit your skin. The cold up here, from -10 to double-digits, likes to slip up your pant leg and down your shirt. These put a stop to the snap against skin. The only (dumb) thing is they have the logo on the back of the shirt. I'm not a morning person, so my brain is missing several cylinders. I see the logo and put it on backwards. Dumb on my part, because all you really need to do is put the colored panels forward, but habit dies a cold, hard death. This are better than the cotton counterparts in feel and warmth.

I’m 5’10”, about 175lbs, 31” waist. I purchased a medium. Which is usually my size. But it did run a little on the bigger side. Especially for thermal undies. I’m used to them being a little more fitting. I probably wouldn’t go with a small though. But they did keep me warm. Used them to go snowboarding this past weekend. And they worked great. Really comfortable.

Underwear for Christmas? Yes I did! My husband (drives concrete mixer) doesn't get super excited about gifts in general. The first day he wore these under his work clothes he came home to tell me how warm and comfortable they were. I had to probe for feedback on the $500 electric staple gun but he happily volunteered how much he liked his new significantly less expensive underwear.

My husband loves these better than any other kind so I'll have to get him more. He usually wore under armor but still preferred my fleece lined leggings. He has a hard time staying warm due to poor circulation and prior injuries and being super thin. He wears layers even in 70 degrees. These are soft, allow him ple ty of movement and that extra layer of warmth he needs.

There not your typical thermal underwear, there a thin type polyester skin covering which holds in heat and whisks away sweat to help keep you warm and dry, and being thin as they are, they fit nice under your outer garments, you can't even notice, plus there also good as pajamas for bed time.

I originally ordered the large(6'1" and 185 lbs) and they were too big so I returned them for a medium and the fit is perfect, soft and very comfortable as a base layer. I don't hunt or work outside so I don't know how they are long term but they do feel great inside, warm without being too hot and uncomfortable.
