  • Good sleeping comfort for affordable price
Style: WingLock Valve Color: Pine Size: Large - 25 x 77 Inches
Me and my wife use this sleeping pad now for a few month almost daily and are very pleased with the sleeping comfort and the value for money. The pad keeps the air insight and in- and deflating is easy. It would be nice that Therma rest would have provided the small pump with the pad as it did with its predecessor. Only downside is that the mad is a little hard to clean. ... show more

  • Good balance of features and good nights of sleep mean one happy Mama!
Style: WingLock Valve Color: Pine Size: Large - 25 x 77 Inches
After a great deal of research, we settled on trying two of the Therm-a-Rest NeoAir Venture pads because of the balance of reasonable price, small pack size, light weight, larger size option, and thickness for a more comfortable night's sleep than our older inflatable or RidgeRest pads. I was afraid it would be like sleeping on a bag of potato chips, as it seemed rather crinkly when delivered and first inflated, but I slept like a baby (while eight months pregnant) on this pad through night-time temps ranging from the 60s to the 30s. We bought two and my husband and I put them together in a full/double fitted sheet with a double bag on top. I also added a Z Lite pad under my side for a little extra firmness due to sleeping on my side. We put them through lots of inflating and deflating cycles on the ten-day camping stretch of a road trip through Theodore Roosevelt NP, Lewis and Clark NF, Glacier NP, Beaverhead-Deerlodge NF, and Yellowstone NP with no issues. This was our first experience with the new valve and it's a definite improvement over the older and simpler two-way valve! We still have two of those pads, handed down to the kids and functional, but with the extra thickness of the NeoAir Venture I was glad for the one-way valve and the inflation bag! ... show more

  • Very noisy, comfortable, good size and good design for filling/deflating
Style: WingLock Valve Color: Pine Size: Large - 25 x 77 Inches
This makes such a crinkling noise when I roll a bit on it, it wakes me up. Just laying there breathing, your chest movement makes it crinkle. No idea what materials are inside it and maybe you'd get used to the noise, but it really sounds like you're scrunching up a bunch of heavy plastic. Take a 1 gallon freezer bag and just start scrunching it up in your hands. That's how it sounds every time you change positions. It's warm, it's light-weight, it's easy to fill with air and deflate, but if the purpose is to give you a restful night sleep, all that noise has to go. Sorry Therm-a-Rest.. This is my 5th purchase from you. I liked the original one I purchased that didn't have all the air baffles inside and the other three self-inflating ones. Returning this one... ... show more

  • Will use again
Style: WingLock Valve Color: Pine Size: Large - 25 x 77 Inches
I bought this for drum corp and it withstood a beating without a problem. Sometimes it was a bit loud when I shuffle on it in the middle of the night, but I can live with that

  • Great Brand
IF your 'car camping... good for you but I went with a lighter Therm-a-Rest product.

  • So far, so good...
I just received these today, and so far I'm happy. This mattress packs up very small and is surprisingly comfortable when inflated. I'd say it's more like 28-30 full breaths to fully inflate it. The mattress is a little noisy (crinkle sounds when you move around on it), but that's a small price to pay for the extremely small pack size. I'll update this after some real-world usage and will change the star rating as appropriate. ... show more

  • Great for colder weather.
I recently went winter camping and this pad was a lifesaver. It was the difference between being warm and freezing all night. Having as something insulate you feel the ground is important when it's really cold out, even when you're in a sleeping bag. It's pretty light so carrying it in wasn't an issue and it was really way to set up and put away. ... show more

  • Fantastic pad!
I got one for myself and one for my husband for a camping trip to the Grand Canyon and Zion. It did great at insulating us from the cold ground, we slept very well on it for 6 nights. Takes up little space in the suitcase and it’s super comfortable. Those Walmart bulky foam pads are a thing of the past. ... show more
