Cushiony
Color: Orange
I ordered the orange-colored, self-inflating ThermARest pad because it was cheaper than the other two color options. I've only tried it at home so far but it seems like it will do the job. The pictures show it deflated and rolled up as well as inflated and ready for use. (Can is in the pictures for scale). The outside seems like it will be easy to clean with a wet cloth. My plan is to use it for resting during long hikes when there is no where to sit, for long plane rides and for hard bleachers watching the grandkids' sports. If it doesn't do its job, I'll revise the review. If the review is still positive, it's working as advertised.

The best product to have for your butt if you travel on flights longer than 2hrs.
Color: Orange
Oh boy. Can't say enough about this. For the airplane . . . . wow. So many airline seats are not comfortable for long haul flights. I've used this on any flight over 2hrs. Value for money is spot on. Travel-ability is fantastic. The quality and size of the product is amazing and it weighs nothing. It takes the pain away from your butt when sitting for so many hours. Granted I highly encourage you to stand every few hours but this is always in my backpack when flying. It compacts into the size of a soda can. It's so easy to inflate and deflate. It's made incredibly well but I don't recommend inflating it to the max. You need to see what pressure works for you. Everyone is different. Highly recommend this product.

The Best out of all I have tried
Color: Orange
I used it this past weekend and it is as great as the first one I bought. Very comfortable. I have owned several seat cushions. This is the best! It folds up and is easy to store when traveling. It is thick enough and you can add or subtract air.

Must have for Swim meets
Color: Orange
Having sat in the bleachers for a couple years without one of these, I'm really really glad I chipped in to get one. I use to leave the meets with neck pain or a sore bottom but every since getting one of these, I haven't had any issues. It's especially nice as some swim meats can be 2-3 hrs of your life in a unpadded bleacher.

Not for tailbone injury
Color: Orange
I was looking to try this item, Therm-a-Rest Lite Seat Ultralight Inflatable Seat Cushion, Orange, Polyester, 13 x 16 Inches, for a tailbone injury for a flight. Trying it ahead of time, I would not recommend it for this purpose. It seems well made, though, if using for another purpose.

The secret to comfortable air travel
Color: Orange
I use these for extra support when traveling by plane, and boy do they work. Inflate the cushion and place it on the aircraft seat just in front of your tailbone, and you won’t get sore airplane butt at all. I only buy the Thermarest brand because others tend to leak.

Just "OK".
Color: Orange
This is better than nothing. I have another, older ThermARest cushion that is much better.
