[UPDATE] So y’all….I bought this in February and now it’s ten months later and she’s finally emptied out! I’m shocked bc typically most of the other cleansers last for 3-4 months. I still stand by my Initial comment and it’s the perfect cleanser for me! But make sure to not open your mouth bc it’s def bitter. [ORIGINAL POST] I don’t know why people were complaining about the smell, as someone who has a sensitive nose, I really didn’t mind the scent! It just smells like tea. Also this has to be the first cleanser I’ve used that doesn’t dry out my skin. I live in an Area where the winters are DRY. And my skin feels evaporated, and this cleanser really helps! I’ve gone through a lot of cleansers and I’ll definitely will be sticking to this one. :)

I’m usually skeptical about trying new products, especially cleansers as I naturally have a mixed skin (oily/dry) but then I tried “then I met you” and was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. Good value for money and not too brutal of a scrub while still giving a deep cleans.

It is brown in color, is translucent, and is quite thick. The texture is kind of gooey. I'm not even sure how to describe it exactly. You don't need much to wash your face with. The only thing is it has a light medicinal scent that isn't really my cup of tea. It doesn't linger though so those that aren't too bothered by scents will not mind this. The only thing, is that it seemed to irritate a part of my face that was dried and flaky. I think this might not be for people that have sensitive skin. I can see people with oily skin using this. Then I Met You Soothing Tea Cleansing Gel - Sulfate-Free + Hydrating Water Cleanser for Face with Fermented Rice Water + Green Tea - Vegan, Clean Skincare (3.38 fl oz) and my thought. Living Cleansing Balm is the first step, I do not have that. This all seems geared toward women but many of us men take care of ourselves using products like these and so I got this! Following the directions is easy, it is just like any other type of product designed to be the second step but in all my years of care, I never have needed any first-step accompaniment. This all by itself does a great job. It has several phases of scents, from citrus to soapy and others, for me. Not the nicest scent lingering, likely due to fermented properties. No expiration date on the box or tube. On my clean, dry skin, it comes out almost like Aloe -- stickiness, of sorts, and massages in pretty well. I left it on for a few minutes and then rinsed and patted my face dry as normal and to my surprise, I looked like Florence Henderson when the Brady Bunch started on TV. I set up 8 more mirrors and looked so glowy and youthful that I could do everyone except Alice the cook! She, was a tad older. Well, people always told me I looked like Florence, maybe that was just all a dream? But my face was smooth, glowing, and clean! I even had the squeak when I rubbed it! I really do not enjoy the scent and it did linger after rinsing and drying but I am always bothered by fragrance scents and anything that is not normally in my world but I have to say this is a great product! I could do without the sappy phrases on the package but I do like the tune color and the results after just one use! So, I recommend it...and it is giftable, especially for those who live for products chasing after you with social media sappiness. Or just want to have nice skin to clamor over.

One of my favorite water-based cleansers with unique texture, that works wonders for my sensitive combination acne-prone skin. The cleanser is very gentle and sticky-jelly-like texture-vise, and it has a wonderful herbal scent. It is a bit difficult to squeeze it out of the tube, but it cleanses the skin perfectly and doesn't leave any film afterward. The skin feels soft and hydrated, not tight at all. The cleanser washes an oil-based cleansing balm perfectly fine. I'm in love!

Not a fan - and I LOVE the cleansing balm. I purchased this on sale and I doubt I'll buy it again. The consistency is...weird. I don't doubt it cleanses well and my skin did not irritate while using it, but I'll purchase the balm next time. This is almost like glue coming out of the component.
