  • What a resource!
Format: Kindle
Don’t let the heft scare you, this book is long but that’s because it is packed with a list of conditions that dogs get along with symptoms, diagnostic tools, and treatments. This is an invaluable reference for any dog lover who doesn’t want to just rely on the internet for info when your dog is having health problems. Of course a visit to the vet will likely also be in order but this will keep you armed with information so you can make informed decisions about your dog’s care. ... show more

  • A must have for any dog parent
Format: Kindle
This is an amazing book for dog parents. It is a reference source on dog illnesses, symptoms, care and suggested medication types. I have been suspicious that my male dog has an ear infection so I looked it up and he has all the symptoms so I am heading to the local Tractor Supply store to get some medicated ear drops. If that doesn't work we will go to the vet and get an oral antibiotic. I would have just kept cleaning his wars for awhile because I thought he was just producing excessive ear wax. This book is going to be invaluable to me. ... show more

  • Author credentials??
Format: Paperback
I read another review questioning the authorship of this book. I must agree - there is no info about author credentials, and it is listed as ‘independent publisher’. Moreover, it’s uncommon to see resources marketed to both professional students and lay people. Unless more info can be provided about the credentials of the author, I would not feel comfortable purchasing this book. ... show more

Extensive compilation of several books but all in one handy reference. It’s easy to understand and very detailed. Happy to reference this before automatically just picking up the phone to call the vet with every little thing
