Book is more for people with camera experience. It explains all of the settings and features of the Gopro 11 but fails to explain how to find the settings and how to set them up. I need step by step details on how to get from point A to point B I'll keep the book but ordered the more expensive "How to Use" Gopro HERO 11. I watched a video by the book author and hope it's what I need. ... show more

I absolutely loved the tips and tricks in this book. Not only did it help me better understand my GoPro, but it made me a better photographer and videographer. I highly recommend this for beginners, but also experts. There’s tips in here I’d never heard off that can make major differences.

    • Nice Guide Book!
This book is definitely a great guide to get you started with your GoPro Hero 11. The book starts with giving you the essentials to get up and running and proceeds with explanations on all the setting and how they're used to get the best shots from your GoPro! A nice touch is the 'Cookbook' settings that allow you to try settings that have been tested in certain shooting scenarios. The book will also give you some basic preproduction advice to think about prior to your shoot. The only thing I think is missing is information on the minimal focus distance of the Hero 11. Understandable why this would be omitted giving the fact most GoPro users are shooting action sports that are happening a fair distance in front of them. Okay, so what about the user that wants to maybe use the GoPro in a product shoot, were close-ups are needed? That is were you MUST know the minimal focus distance of this camera because out of focus shots are NOT fixable, and seeing critical focus from that back LCD is risky. In my testing the GoPro Hero 11 Black's minimum focus distance is 9 inches. Any subject you're shooting that is inside of 9 inches from the GoPro lens is going to be out of focus. A hard one to explain on a paid gig when you're viewing dailies and all the close up shots are out of focus. ... show more
