  • This book is awesome!
This book has exceeded our expectations! It has great lessons, that are easy to understand, and the humor is great! My daughter and I have a fantastic time reading it together, discussing the lessons, and laughing at the hilarious examples. Laughter while learning makes things so much better! We read this with a logical fallacies book and pick out which falacies are being used in some of the examples, as well. There are a lot of layers to the chapters, and if you have a good understanding of debate, it really gives great examples to expand upon. Buy this! It's our favorite school book! I included one of the examples that had my daughter and I crying laughing and making cat train sound effects! 😂 ... show more

  • Excellent
A welcome book that does not spew far-left ideology and actually attempts to teach logic.

  • easy format
This so far has been a great bool for my child and i. Critical thinking skills and reasoning is not taught in schools in the USA any longer and it shows. Providing your kids the essentials will give them a leg up on the other kids who are being trained for non autonomous work and living. Giving your kids the skills to reason means they can become autonomous sooner. With these skills they can feel free to challenge you as a parent so this is a win win in my book. When my reasoning is tested it only makes me a better human and my child knows she is growing and able to take more control of their life. Great so far in helping me teach critical thinking. ... show more

  • Good not great
Overall, a nice follow-up to their first work. Although not quite as good as it. Nonetheless, still a valuable tool and helping your child know how to think.

  • A great curriculum add for all learners
I’ma homeschooling mama on of one, public school mama to another, looking for curriculum diversity. The schools in our area don’t teach logic as a subject so I wasn’t sure what to expect, and my sixth grader and I love this book! We read the descriptions and work through the questions together. When we review the answers, the conversation they inspire are terrific! This would be a great topic to add to any young learner’s day. I highly recommend it. ... show more

  • If you want to sharpen your logic, this is an excellent choise!
I have read the book in order to learn more about logic and scientific thinking. It is written in a clear and understandable language, and I think it is suitable for everyone from about 10 years and up. Each chapter comes with several excercises, and they are entertaining as well as educational. I think this book is a great read! ... show more

  • An amazing place to start !!!!
So much effort by the author. My 13 yr old son s**ks at reasoning skills... in a way that scares you to death that he’ll ever, ever drive a car. I’m desperate to impart in him critical thinking skills. This book was a great place to start. We work together daily in 15-20 minutes a lesson, and he actually likes it. It’s helping somehow... God only knows how, but it’s helping. ... show more

  • Approachable way to learn critical thinking skills
This is a very enjoyable way to learn critical thinking skills. My eleven year old son gets a lot out of it - and so do I. We appreciate the humor.
