  • Not Real Himalayan Pink Salt
Style: Bag Size: 2.2 Pound (Pack of 1)
This is not real Himalayan pink salt. It diluted in water, it turns the water pink, which means it's dyed to look like pink salt when it's really just regular salt. There's also sediment mixed in that gets in whatever food or water you're using.

  • Warning, contains rocks and glass
Style: Bag Size: 2.2 Pound (Pack of 1)
Do not buy this salt and do not eat it. I used a small hanfull in my bath and there is a lot of sediment. The picture is only some of it, from one handful... rocks and glass? Wow. And the item is not eligible for a return? I should get a full refund right?

  • Was good before.. but now has lots of stones/rocks.. Very disappointed.
Style: Bag Size: 5 Pound (Pack of 1)
This salt was my staple for a long time. However, recently it seems to have lost its quality. Of late, there are many stones/rocks in the salt that irks you while biting on to your food and spoils the entire dish. And I'm noticing this almost on a daily basis since my last 2 purchases. If you are looking to buy a good quality salt that doesn't have any rocks , it's better to look elsewhere.. ... show more

  • Rocks used as fillers. Unsafe to consume!
Style: Bag Size: 2.2 Pound (Pack of 1)
There are rocks added in with the salt, which makes it unsafe to consume. It is a sneaky, unethical practice, to add weight to the bag, when you’re actually getting a percentage of what you paid for. Amazon should discontinue this item from seller.

  • White chunks in product that isn’t salt.
Style: Bag Size: 2.2 Pound (Pack of 1)
Says 100% Himalayan salt but I have small white chunks that crumble between my fingers and doesn’t tast like salt. Would like a refund but will not let me return item. Need to find a way to get a refund. NOT ACCEPTABLE!!

  • Not real Himalayan salt
Style: Bag Size: 5 Pound (Pack of 1)
I just tried to make sole with this salt. My water turned pink and cloudy. I switched to this brand thinking it was the real thing. Don't be fooled people, this is not the real thing. Real Himalayan salt doesn't not turn pink. It stays clear and all the salt did not dissolve.

  • It's Salt
Style: Bag Size: 2.2 Pound (Pack of 1)
Looks like salt, tastes like salt. Beyond that I don't know what to say. It looks nice in my glass salt grinder I guess. I gave it 5 stars because it is what it is and it tastes like salt. It makes my food taste salty when I use it in cooking. Like salt should do. Doesn't turn my food pink, which I guess is mostly a good thing. Unless I want to make pink food. I guess it's not good at that. In case you're thinking of making pink mashed potatoes or something. Then you'd probably have to use too much salt, in which case the food would be too salty. So don't. Don't try to turn your food pink or anything. Makes it too salty and would look weird in any case. Unless you're really into pink food. Which is still weird unless it's cotton candy. Cotton candy is good, but generally not salty, even if it's pink. ... show more

  • I recommend this Himalayan Pink Salt over sea salt anyday! Try this 'Healthy Salt', you'll love the taste and health benefits!
Style: Bag Size: 8 Ounce (Pack of 1)
My mother is always complaining that I use too much salt, so I have switched to Himalayan which is known as a 'healthy salt'. I also suffer from acid refulx, and since using this salt, I have noticed a dramatic reduction. I was pleasantly surprised when my order arrived. The packaging was of high quality, I received a wooden salt spoon and a sachet of Italian Black Truffle Salt to try. There are many benefits of using Himalayan Pink Salt over sea-salt, and below are just a few. Create an electrolyte balance Increases hydration Regulate water content both inside and outside of cells Balance pH (alkaline/acidity) and help to reduce acid reflux Prevent muscle cramping Aid in proper metabolism functioning Strengthen bones Lower blood pressure Help the intestines absorb nutrients Prevent goiters Improve circulation Dissolve and eliminate sediment to remove toxins The Himalayan Pink Salt is also know to support libido, reduce the signs of aging, and detoxify the body from heavy metals. I will not go back to sea salt, and will only use Himalayan salt in the future. It may be a little more costly, but the taste and health benefits for me are important. I hope that you have found my opinion and images to be helpful with your decision process to buy this item. If this is the case, and where Amazon asks if this review helpful, please click "yes."
