I ordered the beautiful burgundy De Young leather hobo. It's very soft leather and a nice interior. But it is way too light weight. It falls off my shoulder - I can't keep it up. The strap just is not the right length for me. When I set it on a table, it will completely fall over and spill out the contents if it's not zipped up. The base is too narrow. If it was a little bit heavier, a little bit shorter, or perhaps wider, then it would stay up on my shoulder and I could hold it in place. It just doesn't work to load up my purse with stuff to make it heavier. It won't stay. The light weight and narrow base make it feel kind of cheap.

Im not into buying trendy clothes, shoes or purses, because I don’t want to waste money on something that will look dated in no time. This Sak purse has a simple, classic look. A few years ago, I bought this purse in a dark gray leather, and it looks almost as good as it did when I purchased it, even though I carry it daily. The shoulder straps are wide, soft and comfortable. When my son gave me a gift card, I decided to order the exact purse again in red. It is gorgeous in the dark red and goes well with black, navy, and white, which I wear very often. I like that it zips so I don’t have to worry about contents accidentally falling out. I love the style in both colors and look forward to years of use.
