For a book that was supposed to be a “bible” for RV camping, it seemed rather short on basic camping information. For that one appears to need the extras reached only by submitting a review. Experienced RV campers will find a wealth of information about campgrounds and campsites for everything from boondocking to glamping with a huge motor home. The regional organization is much better than alphabetical. As a newbie, the lack of basic information was disappointing. That said, in checking the entries for my home state, there were sites listed not found in other resources. There was information about more recognized sites not shown elsewhere. The fact that this is a 2025 update is another positive. Definitely recommended as a great resource resource for camping sites. ... show more

The RiVers’ Bible is not. Don’t waste your money. My wife and I are heading out west this summer and we won’t be following the recommendations listed in this book. Did the campground in this book pay to be listed? I expect they do. We compared their recommendation to the few included in our state and they were not even close to being the best places to stay. I expect that will be the same when we head to the unknowns. If you buy this book return it. I am going to. Don’t waste your money. ... show more
