  • Good information for RVers
I really liked how this book was arranged. It’s divided by region, with campground listings for each state. With the type of setup you’ll find, to amenities, even directions and phone numbers. Whether you’re looking for full hookups and all the comforts of home, or you’re into boondocking this book will help you choose the perfect camping location. I also ordered the paperback version. ... show more

  • RVing
If you are a person that includes traveling the country in an RV this book is for you. This book has some tips for RV camping. It also has information about parks in every state where you can camp in your RV from Alabama to Florida to Illinois to Wyoming. With each of the parks you learn a little bit about the campground, the amenities, activities, when to visit, and much more. A great resource! ... show more

  • A lovely book that will get you wanting to adventure.
I may have misread the marketing in that I expected it to be an exhaustive list of campgrounds by state. It's definitely not that. It gives some details on select campgrounds by state and lists other campgrounds and boondock options. I actually think that's fine. Because it got me thinking about the areas and it's really easy to find other sites if you look online in forums, state and local park sites. AAA has a lot of options depending on the state as well. I'm looking forward to getting the 7 bonus items after leaving this review. ... show more

This book is really thought out and well planned! We've been rv'ing a few years, but it's always great to read about other's experiences and tips. This book is great for beginners as well as experienced travelers. Thank you 😊.

  • Great asset... well, not really
Update: This book has so many reviews because in order to get the "bonuses", you have to submit a review. This is misleading. I look at the reviews before buying anything. As far as valuable content, it isnt the best. It's a glorified list of campgrounds and not that many. I can't say that I won't be able to use this at all but unfortunately, it won't be as much help as I had hoped. It has a handful of campgrounds listed for each state. This can be found in a Google search, along your desired route. I'm planning a cross country rv trip and I know I'll be going to the Outer Banks. There are 0 campgrounds for the Outer Banks. That's just 1 example. I wouldn't really call this a "Bible" as the only thing that's provided is a list of campgrounds. As mentioned before, the "bonuses" are provided in an email after you've submitted a review. The "bonuses" are more of a suggestion of checklists. If you've camped at all, you'd be better off to make your own checklist tailored to your specific situation. So far it seems like a valuable asset. Just getting started but will try to come back with an update. I'm planning an rv road trip so hoping this book will help with that! ... show more

  • Must submit a review before you get the full amount of purchased/promised materials.
I just received book this afternoon and glanced through it. I just bought a replacement RV and I believed I was going to get new owners hints and ideas so that I could take better care of this one and get some nice travel tips. I’m having trouble getting the “free” add-ons which will provide the information that I actually bought it for. Apparently, I have to leave feedback first. My first attempt opened to an account page with a notation that membership is free but has spaces to fill out credit card info and states my card won’t be charged. I backed out. So far the book is not complete as described until you do a QR code scan and hopefully get the add-ons because you don’t get the download until you leave a review - or so they say - which I learned - don't bother. Review is a 3-star since I cannot review something I can’t get until I submit a review. I think that is wrong. So, I just submitted this review again. Reread their e-mail that states that I have to reply to their e-mail before I get my full purchase. What is this???? So, I did just reply expressing my total displeasure. Very sorry that I purchased but will not downgrade to a one-star until I receive the rest of the book in order to make an informed review. IMO So Far, This is nowhere near an ultimate anything. I did finally get my "bonus material" with an explanation of how this was not really part of the price of the book. Apparently it is not going to be received if you don't do the review because he actually indicated that it was not necessarily required to be provided as they call it "bonus" and acted like he was actually giving me something. Still not sure about all that. Save yourself the trouble. I stand by my earlier feedback that this book is of little to no use. There are no helpful hints about anything - even with those precious "bonus materials." Does anyone out there really feel that being told the best time to visit/the season is May-Oct for Northern states and the winter months is the recommended season/time to visit the southern-tiered states? If you are looking for knowledge, this is not the book I would recommend. It is general information at best. The top price indicated is three dollar signs ($) which merely indicates more than $60. I'm pretty sure you won't be staying in resort parks or the D.C. park for less than $100/night. In fact, I checked. Cherry Hill was $110/night - and there may be a three-day minimum. I think this book will be of little value. Check the internet for much more up-to-date info and save yourself $28. I have already decided this book will not be getting any precious space in my small RV. In fact, since I find little to no value to it, it's probably going into the campfire. Spend it on a good map if you are worried about no internet being available. I informed the seller of my disappointment. If you are doing National Parks, do Ash - Dirt in My Shoes website. She is wonderful and actually provides lots of really good information. Sorry to say, this book is not it. ... show more
