Love me a rejected mate read. This does end in an HEA so no worries there. But the journey there is painful and long. Alanna deserves happiness but she's stuck not really living a half one. That is until Connor reappears in her life. Past secrets are untangle. Truth comes to light. And bonds begin to mend. Loved this relatively quick read. Totally recommend.

Wow! Loved it! The Rejected Omega is a really good book! It's well written and the story caught my attention from beginning to end. Lana, the main character is so real! It was so heartbreaking I had tears in my eyes. Enjoy!

Ok so I really liked the first half of this book. I felt the betrayal like a gut punch it really set up the stakes. One of my complaints is that I do think that the ML should of had a few chapters with his POV. Because half the interaction that they were having in the novel I was like 'Where does he get the audacity?'. His POV might of made those feelings go away. Also I don't feel like they really had the conversation they needed to have. He never gave a good explanation on why he never showed up. Or why he never answered the phone because she called multiple times. He gave her some cookie cutter answer that was 'I didn't want to lose you as a friend!' For why he neve pursued anything with her through their whole friendship but not WHY he never showed up. It left me unsatisfied so 3 stars it is

There is such an overabundance of everyone & their mother attempting to write A/O stories, and not all are good lol I'm usually skeptic of summaries/blurbs as I have found some bait n switch books before. I found this accidentally, while searching for a different OV story theme, but I decided to take a chance on it. I'm glad I did! I stayed up all night just to finish this book lol While it feels like not enough background was given to the MMC, on what truly happened all those years ago to the FMC, it didn't bother me too much. But what did bother me is again reaching the HEA of a decent story to find there's no decent HEA chapter or ending. Cool, girl gets boy / mates find each other / blah blah.... but, I want to see the fruits of the labor in spending hours going through the emotional rollercoaster with the FMC. I want a better pay off from PNR stories than just the bland "and they lived happily ever after". IDK why Authors spend days/weeks/months/years building their characters and their stories to just through very little care in crafting a deep HEA chapter. I think I can count on one hand the amount of authors I found, over the years, that actually gave just as much attention, care, and detail to the epilogue that matched the actual story leading up to it. Otherwise, I don't regret reading this! I just hope the Author chooses to give a bit more when it comes to showing us the ending of their stories, because it doesn't feel the same when the audience is left to imagine how their lives unfold once the last word is read.

Suffering love. Suffering friendship. Conner's dad helped so much. Alanna is a strong female character. She suffered so much with no family help. I would recommend this novel.

Wow I don't know what to say! This was the most intense storyline I have read in well forever!! Just when I thought things were going to end badly a twist hits and boom š„š¤Æ my mind is still saying I didn't expect this to happen! If you like fast paced, friends to lovers with intensity and an HEA that you don't think is going to happen then read this story you definitely won't be sorry you did!

This was my first read from Sara Sellers, and I gotta sayācolor me impressed. The omegaverse is my comfort-food genre, and Iām pickyābut this one delivered. I started reading this at the doctorās office, and had a hard time trying not to let the tears in my eyes give me away. Lanaās pain hit hard. Anyone whoās ever experienced unrequited love can relateābut when itās your mate who doesnāt return those feelings? That kind of hurt runs deep. Lanaās pain was so raw and real, and while I got why she didnāt tell Connor they were mates (wanting to be chosen by his heart, not his biology), I also found myself yelling at the page like, āGirl, please just SAY something!ā Because Connor was already halfway in love with her and didnāt even know he had a spiritual bond backing it up. Keeping it from him felt unfair, especially when everyone knew how much he cared about her. Watching him struggle without the full picture was frustrating in the best way. Despite being just 222 pages, this book didnāt feel rushed. It was packed with angst, yearning, and just enough spice to keep the pulse racing. Now, the only thing that didnāt sit right? The ending. Have you ever been walking and suddenly step into a hole you didnāt see? That full-body jolt, the way everything stops without warning? Thatās how the ending felt. It didnāt ruin the story, but it definitely made me blink at the page like, Wait, thatās it? I needed a bit more closure, or at least an epilogue. Bottom line: A heartfelt, emotional omegaverse with strong characters and real depth. Just be prepared for an ending that stops a little too suddenly. āļøāļøāļøāļø HEA? yes 3rd act break-up? yes-ish š¶š¶š¶š¶/5
