Description

In dry, deep snow, Ski Skooter acts like a snowshoe, allowing riders to float on the surface. Kids stay glued to the Ski Skooter thanks to its sturdy folding handle and non-skid surface. Made of monster-tough polyurethane. Traveling with the Ski Skooter is easy...simply fold down the handle and carry it by hand or strap it onto a pack. Available in Green, Blue or Red. I bought this after reading reviews. This is a wonderful intro. to snowboarding for a child. My son is 5, above average height and weight. This fit him perfectly. It folds up easily for storage and moveability, and is usable. The handles can easily be reached, and the base of the board has raised areas for traction. The bottom is nice and slick, so it really does ride over snow and ice (on both grass and a street) perfectly. The light at the front is a bonus. My girls (9 and 11) received these for Christmas - we bought two and they are really enjoying them this winter. One of the skooters had an issue with the led light, which was promptly rectified by the seller (they sent a replacement led light). Bought these for the grands for snow play and so far so good. The standing platform is thin and can be stood on, sat on or used with knees which I observed all the grands trying out. They lasted through 2 days so far so I will keep you posted. The handle is sturdy but worried a bit about it coming off as the youngest stands and I pull him as he screams, “ Run faster, grandma”! ... show more

My kids have had a blast on this. We used it as a training tool for snowboarding in the snow and using it for drills on the carpet or grass. He practiced 'skating' on the carpet in our living room, practiced balance using it on some pillows, and we tied a rope to it and pulled him up and down hills while talking him through using heelside and toeside. Playing with it in the snow helped too and was fun for him. He did great his first day snowboarding and I'm convinced this toy is a big part of that. ... show more
