I never thought this would improve my skin, but I was wrong. I realise you have to have use it on damp slight wet skin, to see that it works, on dry skin is a no. It hydrates and leave a radiant look. It has peptides which is great. I have very few wrinkles at 34, dark brown, Combination skin, occasional acne, this really helps to use before a gentle retinol 3 times a week . Or can use with a moisturizer, if you got acne goes well with a gentle S acne moisturizer. So yea worth it, if know how to use it with another moisturizer. Will be ordering a next one soon.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars Bought for: a hydration boost. I’m 52 and my skin has suddenly turned very dry, especially overnight. I use a few moisturizers (The Ordinary + Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream), and wanted something that would add extra water-back-in before moisturizer. Likes: Thicker texture (in a good way): This isn’t watery. It’s a bit thick, and a little goes a long way. Virtually unscented: No strong fragrance. Real hydration boost: I wake up dewy and hydrated, especially when I use it at night under moisturizer. Plays well with other products: Layers nicely with my other moisturizers and under makeup with no pilling. Good value per use: It feels “expensive” even though it costs less than many drugstore brands, but because you use so little, the bottle lasts. How long it lasts: For me, this bottle lasts about 1–2 months depending on whether you use it once or twice daily and whether you apply it to neck/chest/hands too. Notes / expectations: Hyaluronic acid is great for hydration, but it’s not a miracle for under-eye bags/dark circles. Would I buy again? Yes, already planning to. Quick answers: Texture: Thick, not runny Scent: Virtually none Sticky? Not for me (especially once layered) Good for very dry skin? Yes, great boost under moisturizer Works under makeup? The Ordinary’s Matrixyl 10% + HA is a lightweight peptide serum that helps improve the look of fine lines and overall skin texture with consistent use. It won’t deliver dramatic results overnight, but after a few weeks the skin feels smoother and slightly firmer. It absorbs well, doesn’t sting, and works for most skin types. Its biggest strength is the great quality for the price, though if you’re looking for very fast or intense results, it may fall a bit short.

I'm on my second bottle of this serum and like it very well. I have sensitive skin and have had no adverse effects from using it. I have been using it along with a couple of the other "The Ordinary" products and I'm really liking all of them. My skin looks and feels much better since I began the routine. I'm fortunate that at 71 years old, I don't have a lot of wrinkles. That being said, this year has been a very stressful one on many fronts and I have noticed more lines in my forehead than ever. I would like to tell you that the Matrixyl has removed them all, but that's not really true. I do believe that I've seen a softening of these lines and also in my laugh and frown lines. I've lost a considerable amount of weight and that along with aging has caused my neck to have some serious wrinkles and sagging. However, I do believe even that is better since using the Matrixyl. What I can tell you for sure, is that I get many, many people that tell me how beautiful my complexion is. Like I said before, I'm fortunate that I got good genes, but the new beauty routine has certainly helped. "The Ordinary" product line is very affordable and I have yet to try a product that I haven't liked. I will continue to use these products daily. I highly recommend!

I used this for the first time this morning, and my skin is already glowing. It feels lightweight, absorbs quickly, and layers beautifully without any stickiness or irritation. I’ve been using it in tandem with my Illiyoon moisturizer, and the combination has been amazing so far. My skin looks smoother, more hydrated, and just overall healthier after one use, which honestly surprised me in the best way. It also doesn't really have a fragrance, which is nice. I’ll be updating this review with before and after photos over the next few weeks to track longer term results, but first impressions are very positive. So far, I’m loving it. ✨😌👀♥️
