I decided to try The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% after constantly seeing people talk about it on TikTok, especially people with rosacea and sensitive skin like mine. I was honestly hesitant at first because the texture is definitely thicker than a lot of products I normally use, and thicker creams/products tend to irritate my skin or make me nervous about flare ups. To be safe, I started off using a very small amount, and I’m really glad I gave it a chance. I’ve only been using it consistently for about a week so far, but I can already see and feel a difference in my skin. Nothing unrealistic or overnight, but enough that my skin feels calmer, healthier, and more comfortable overall. The redness in my face looks less angry, and my skin texture feels smoother too. Even though the formula is thicker, it doesn’t feel heavy once applied. A little goes a long way, and using too much definitely isn’t necessary. I think easing into it slowly helped my skin adjust really well without irritation. As someone with rosacea, I’m extremely cautious about trying trending skincare products because my skin reacts to things so easily. A lot of viral products end up being too harsh for me, but this one genuinely deserves the hype it’s getting. It feels effective without destroying my skin barrier, which is hard to find. What a miracle product!! One application and within an hour the huge acne burst open releasing all the pus and the acne completely flattened and started drying. Great texture and did not create any dryness or flakiness. Never had an anti acne product work so quickly and effectively. Love it!!
