tnf truckee my naked foot measures exactly 28.5-28.7cm long, took size 11.5, excellent fit wide toebox, very comfy, big toe won't develop the usual blister slightly pronounced arch/heel, not uncomfortable. just a touch wide. heel ok, could be a little more snug 13.5-16.5cm tall shaft, measured from bottom of sole very similar fit to 11.5 Moab 2 Vent Truckee weighs 468g, Moab 2 vent is 550g, probably due to the thicker sole. I chose this shoe over the Moab 2 vent, the only thing the Moab does better is a thicker sole, particularly around the heel. Both soles have good, similar grip but the truckee will wear through faster. Although the upper fabric of the Truckee seems better constructed than the Moab which seems pretty sloppy in comparison, so it's probably par on durability overall. Moab has an arch support insole while the Truckee is a plain flat piece of foam, which i prefer. The shaft & tongue on the Truckee is also a little taller & thinner which makes it easy to cinch around the ankle and keep out debris, also much more comfortable and flexible. The Moab is thicker and clunkier around the ankles. One thing I don't like is this thin suede section between the toecap and the leather, it's an obvious weak point and will probably be the first area to break apart on this shoe. they could've easily extended the rubber toecap all the way across. The moabs even worse though with all the vents along the bottom. Overall Truckee won out on comfort. I wish it had the Moabs sole and open eyelets up top, then it'd be perfect.

i bought these because i missed my black colored north face mid hikers and they nolonger make the same ones i had so i decided to give these a whirl,and boy am i glad,they feel like your wearing your slippers and the price was fair! i usually swear by oboz shoes but there prices have going through the roof but they do last a long time,we shall see how long these will last but nothing last longer than a pair of oboz [grey] low cut hikers! i will follow up when i get more northface shoe time!

I was skeptical about buying these, because they were lightweight and I suspected they wouldn't offer enough support. I was definitely wrong. These boots make me feel like I'm walking on cushions, and they helped reduce my knee pain. I am extremely happy with these, and wear them daily in the warehouse I work in (I work 12 hour shifts, and I'm on my feet the entire time). NOTE: They took a couple days of breaking in before they were their most comfortable. They were stiff at first, but broke in fast.

I tried on multiple pairs of hiking boots and was not expecting these to be the pair I ended up buying…But the fit and comfort was great from the moment I laced them up. I took them on a 3 mile hike to break them in prior to an upcoming longer trip but found them to be comfortable from my first steps. I have fairly flat feet, small bunion on left foot, and had ankle surgery on my right five years ago. These boots have the space and support I need! I wear an 8, bought an 8 and have just the right amount of space in the toes with a good snug fit at the ankles. Light and easy to walk in. Very happy with my North Face boots!
