I picked up the large dusk blue North Face fleece and I’m pretty happy with it overall. I usually go with a large for jackets, and this one fits just right in the arms and chest. If I could tweak one thing, I’d want it to be just a touch longer at the waist. Design-wise, it looks great. The seam work around the shoulders is clean and solid, and honestly, all the stitching feels high quality. The pockets are well-placed too. I especially like the chest pocket—it’s low-profile and big enough to fit my phone, which is clutch. That said, the pocket material itself feels a little thin compared to the rest of the jacket. Not a dealbreaker, but it’s noticeable. Color-wise, it nails the description photos. It’s a really nice, light blue that stands out without being loud. Even though I got this in the middle of summer, I tested it inside where it was around 72 degrees, and it got warm fast. This fleece traps heat well for how thin it is. It’s going to be awesome for layering in colder weather. If you’re wearing it solo, I’d say it’s solid for anything above 50 degrees. Bonus points for the hood—it fits my big head and big hair without feeling tight. The whole thing is super lightweight too, so it’s perfect for tossing into a camping bag or packing for travel. Now, yeah, this jacket is definitely pricier than a lot of the competition. But let’s be real—I was buying the brand. North Face has a reputation for solid gear, and this fleece mostly lives up to that. You’re paying for that name and the build quality that usually comes with it. All in all, a stylish, functional fleece that feels great and works well—just wish the pockets were a little beefier and the cut slightly longer at the waist. ... show more

I've had this North Face performance fleece hoodie for about a week now, and as is usually the case with anything from North Face, it's a great product. The sizing is spot on, and the fleece is super soft and feels wonderful to wear. It's truly lightweight but also incredibly warm, which is the perfect combo. The hood is a good size, and I love the bungee drawstrings for adjusting the fit. The zipper pockets are a nice and big, giving you plenty of secure space for your hands or your essentials. If you're looking for a comfortable, high-quality fleece hoodie that delivers on both warmth and a great fit, you can't go wrong with this one. ... show more

Much more blue than the photo in the listing, but I actually prefer that to the more greenish tint. The listed color is "dusk blue," so that makes sense that it would be a blue shade. The jacket fits well and is comfortable. The only thing I don't like about the fit is how tight the elastic band around the wrists at the end of the sleeves. Maybe I'll get used to it the more I wear it. It's currently summer time, so I can't really measure how warm it will keep me, but the materials feel comparable to other running jackets I've been wearing for the last couple of years. I'll try to remember to update my review once I can test out the warmth. I would say it's over-priced and that you're mostly paying for the brand name. Ordered this TNF fleece for my son to add to his college wardrobe. He likes the fit since it’s a good fit and weight for layering. He was surprised that he liked the color and noticed how well it fit into his current wardrobe, especially since it wasn’t “another” hoodie! We own several North Face jackets, and they are all comfortable, stylish and warm. This jacket is no different. Having a fleece liner and a soft polyester outer shell it is very comfortable and light. The feature I like most about this jacket is that all three pockets are zippered, which is a must for me as I am afraid of things falling out of my pocket. One thing to note is that the jacket is not waterproof or windproof but it is plenty warm. True to size, it fits me perfectly as I usually wear a large. I think this is a very nice The North Face hoodie in size large. My daughter called the color Honolulu blue. I like the pocket on the chest that's a nice touch the pockets on the side have like a mesh material for airflow. The zippers are perfect. Made very well and looks like it will last for years. I can't recommend this hoodie enough. I feel like it's getting hard to find ones that zip all the way down the middle. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Person in the video is 5’10” and 165lbs and is wearing a size Large. This North Face is a zip up hoodie. It’s more of a lightweight jacket for spring or fall than a sweatshirt hoodie. North Face stuff is always higher priced than other items of the same or even better quality. For this price point, North Face should be using way better materials like pure cotton, wool or linen as opposed to the polyester they use. The jacket is 4% elastane and 96% polyester (“plastic”)!
