  • Fun Gift For the Cook
Looking forward to gifting this to someone who loves to cook and try new things

  • Very pleased with this purchase!
absolutely LOVE this calendar. The recipes are always enticing, and many of them are very easy to prepare. A friend gave me the 2025 Calendar as a holiday gift last year....so I wanted to get the 2026 edition as soon as possible.

  • If you enjoy cooking, buy this.
If you enjoy cooking and trying new recipes, buy this calendar. I was given a 2025 calendar as a gift and just purchased two for 2026; one for myself and one as a gift.

  • A fun gift for the cook in your family or friend circle
Format: Calendar
These page a day calendars feel a little archaic in a world where we do everything on our smart phones. You can't keep a record of past events (toss the page when the day passes) and they take counter space. All of that having been said, this is a fun collection of recipes drawn from the New York Times' vast (and generally excellent) collection of good things to eat. In our house, it will probably sit in the kitchen and if a recipe doesn't appear within a few days of when we need inspiration, it will probably get tossed. But it will be a daily reminder to try something new - and, as a gift, it shows that you appreciate the value of having someone who cooks in your circle. ... show more

  • Recipe-a-day
Lots of interesting recipes to try out over the year

  • Wonderful recipes!
Format: Calendar
This is my second year buying this calendar. I loved it so much, I even bought one for my daughter. The front page of the day has a description of the recipe with a photo and the back has the recipe. Everything I've tried has been so good. The Cajun Salmon from last year is on regular rotation and I suspect that yesterday's Pecan Pie Brownies will be made every soon! ... show more

  • The NewYork Times Recipe a Day calendar
Format: Calendar
I couldn’t find this calendar anywhere. I was told it was out of print and then Amazon restocked! Yes!!! I love the New York Times and all their recipes but I only subscribe to the news headlines so this is my daily treat. The pictures are beautiful and the recipes and instructions complete. I may use this as a gift idea next year! ... show more

  • Not for me
Format: Calendar
I love to cook and to try new recipes, but this calendar, so far, has not offered up any that are really appealing. I thought it would have the NYT faves - no the case. I have thrown out almost all, as I am not a huge fan of tofu or funky vegetarian options. If you are, then this is for you!
