  • Super picky son will eat some of these recipes!
Format: Hardcover
My super picky son is actually trying new foods that he would have turned his nose up at had I made them for him! The fact that it's minecraft has him wanting to make and eat some of the recipes. He still looks at ingredients on some of them and says no way, but progress has been made, so I'm happy with this purchase. ... show more

  • Who would have known!
Format: Hardcover
I have a 9 year old that doesn’t have a lot of interest in food let alone cooking it but he loves using this book. Since the recipes are not too complicated we have most of it on hand. We have made, the farmers bread, stir block brownies, pumpkin seeds and many more. They are easy to follow directions and my child great success with the recipes. It’s been great to share the love of cooking with him. If you have a Minecraft lover I highly recommend. ... show more

  • Child friendly
Format: Hardcover
Many of the recipes are very simple and do not require many ingredients. One recipe was for pumpkin seeds, another a simply a grilled cheese. The art throughout the book is very nice, they do provide many photos of what the finished dish should look like. Including little paragraphs of information relating to the game on most pages. I think mine craft lovers of all ages could enjoy this recipe book. If you're looking for more professional recipes that are higher effort, you won't find many of those in this cookbook. I'm happy with my purchase. ... show more

  • Adorable cook book
Format: Hardcover
I bought this cookbook for my boyfriend who loves minecraft even as an adult and while some of the recipes are a little boring its an overall good cookbook

  • Minecraft meets kitchen!
Format: Hardcover
My 8 yr old has expressed more interest in the kitchen lately, but lacks the skills (mostly safety related) to execute the dishes we typically make in out home. He’s also a picky eater, but throw in his favorite Minecraft and he’s excited to try new things! He even likes to just sit and read the cookbook. The directions are clear and he’s able to follow them with minimal input from me. Admittedly I’m not very patient in the kitchen, so having a cookbook that gives my son some independence is helpful for everyone involved. Our fav so far are Alex’s chocolate chunk cookies. Can’t wait to try even more recipes! ... show more

  • Minecrafter is Trying New Things!
Format: Hardcover
My child (12M) loves Minecraft, so I purchased this along with a few other cookbooks. He was super excited to try, and to date, we have made the Redstone Dust Shake (loved!), and have plans to make Potion of Night Vision and Alex's Chocolate Chunk Cookies. We play Minecraft together as a family and with friends across the country on the weekends, and I know he is going to be talking this up with our friends in a couple of days. Worth the purchase, especially since he doesn't like veggies in traditional presentations. Both his doctor and I are happy he is excited to eat them with these names. ... show more

  • My 10 Year Old LOVES this book
Format: Hardcover
We gave this book to our 10 year old son who loves to cook and loves Minecraft for Christmas. It has become his favorite present and we are cooking it from it almost every day. We've made many of the recipes. He is learning cooking skills AND they have tasted wonderful! Highly recommend if you have a Minecraft enthusiast who delights in cooking. ... show more

  • Very creative but recipes aren’t great
Format: Hardcover
I loved this book at first - the recipes look so creative and I love the way they made recipes to match Minecraft themes - so fun! Then we actually tried some of the recipes and… they’re quite flawed. The cocoa mix looks cool but is grainy and unpleasant to drink. The jello lime wedges (glistering melon) recipe was tedious / impossible to get the lime peels smooth on the inside so it was gross. I feel like they had great ideas but didn’t actually test them with real kids. Disappointing. ... show more
