  • Great Pieces with Great Binding
I love the collection of music pieces in the book and I love the binding, which removes the stress of the book closing while you play! The best music collection book I have after more than a decade of use!

  • Fantastic selection of classical piano pieces
I like the variety of pieces and also the spiral binding. It is a great compliment to Piano Classics 1. Wonderful for someone like me who is coming back to piano playing after 30 years.

  • A Small Investment Gives Access to So Much Music
I bought The Library of Piano Classics a couple months prior and had to have this volume 2 as well. So now, for a ridiculously small investment, I have such an embarrassing wealth of creations of great musical genius at my disposal! The print is clear and the flexible binding is so fantastic. I have come across a few minor errors, mostly in volume one, but haven't found them much of a bother--usually something like an accidental placed on an adjacent note--easily fixed. There is lots of material simple enough for me to read through and improve my playing at first sight skills, but also, plenty of richer, more challenging pieces to engage my curious mind. ... show more

  • Excellent collection of pieces for appreciating music
This book has a huge collection of music for moderate to challenging piano player. There are dozens of pieces that will inspire you to read and improve your sight reading ability in the addition to truly appreciate music. This copy is/ also able to stand open while you leave it on a lyre. The only flaw I have is that the type of print of these books can be challenging to read for congested portions of a notes, saw where a there are flats, sharps, or natural sizes around a cluster of notes in a measure, the notes can be hard to read. ... show more

  • If you like playing classical piano
If you like playing classical piano, you must have this "Piano Classic" book. I bought both number 1 and 2. They have many challenging classical piano music on them varies from lower intermediate to advanced. Some of the popular titles include. Since the author is confident enough to let you see inside of the book before you buy it, I don't think it's necessary to add the titles on this review. But I can tell you that all the music are the exact same way the composers wrote them. They are not rearranged. ... show more

  • A WHOLE MUSIC LIBRARY AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
A variety of selections at my fingertips which I am very grateful for. These go well with my advanced studies in music. The selections of Rachminoff, Bach, Beethoven, Shubert, and many others are very versatile and all pieces dance from intermediate to advance. So far, I have no complaints. The pages are clean and the spiral binding is very convenient making the pages easy to turn. I would recommend these to any serous music student. These offer wonderful pieces if you have a recital or small showcase to do and you aren't sure of what piece to perform. This collection is also good for extending your knowledge and getting a real feel for many different crucial composers. I have yet to see a better collection than this. ... show more

  • Library of Piano Classics 1 and 2 are wonderful collections
I love both book one and two in this collection because they are so varied and because I can actually play about twenty percent of them and strive to play the rest. So many are my favorites and it's great fun to sit and play from them or to "practice" them, even with old arthritic fingers. As I play, in my memory, I can hear my mother calling from the other room -- "F#, Hiildegarde -- F#! Go back two measures and try it again!" Mamma is long gone, but her practice disciplines live on. And these books are simply wonderful to play from. I just bought a set for my daughter to play from and relax a bit while she is pursuing her PhD. ... show more

  • Excellent Collection of Music
Between this one and the first book, I think I'm pretty much set for classical music for life. Excellent collection and spiral bound is a huge plus. I think it should be a felony to create sheet music that isn't spiral bound.
