Good-sized, clear notes. Much better than I expected. Not a weird hand-written jazz font. I went through and marked 175 short passages for practicing on the piano. Fortunately I have recordings of most of these transcriptions and after multiple listenings I can attest to the accuracy of the notations. This is a tenor player's dream book, not to copy Prez note for note, but to actually see his brilliance as an improviser on paper.

Love Lester Young! All the transcriptios are accurate and is print real well and easy to read. Just really awesome now I can see his solos on paper.

You'll get to see how Lester worked his way into a tune. Good book for any improvisor. Sadly, some of my favourite tunes were not included.
