This book provided many short songs for me to enjoy playing on the saxophone. Although I am not brand new to the saxophone, I am still new to it, and the songs in this book are plentiful and easy to read. I personally did not need the fingering chart below or above each note, however it is a nice idea for someone who is just starting out. To be honest, I find that the text or font is a little too large because a song that should be able to fit on a single page in my opinion tends to take up two or three pages. But that's just me. I have purchased additional books from this same publisher in the hopes of making learning fun on additional instruments! :-) ... show more
