Yes, you will feel a cooling sensation when you first put these on. The first time (right out the shower), I wasn't prepared for the intensity. The second time (midday), it was relieving. Loved it! The padding and top layer material are much softer than my traditional go-to brand, which is great. But what's not so great is that they don't stay in place unless your undies are super snug. They need more adhesion on the wings. Absorbency wise, they are pretty good. Had the wings kept them in place I would not have had any leakage. I will purchase again though. I wanted to try something different because I have endometriosis and am always looking for something to alleviate the pain. My body wasn't sure what to do with the herbal aspect of the pads at first and the pads actually stopped my cycle. Everything eventually returned to normal and my pain significantly decreased. The pads give a feeling of calm and relaxation and I will definitely be buying them again. It'd be awesome if Target would stop running out of this brand but they're phenomenal so I understand why so many people like them. They're really absorbent and I never had to worry about leaks. The adhesive is definitely finicky and really sticks to the first thing it touches so just ensure it's your underwear and not one of the wings because there's no way to un-stick it. ... show more

i remember first buying these to try them out, i was confused on why my private area was feeling tingly- like a cooling sensation. then i realized it was because of the mint. i got used to the feeling and fell in love with these for my heavier days during my period. they help with the cramps. other than that; i use regular pads. some people may not like the cooling effect. but i am one that loves it. the one thing i don’t like is that the pad shifts, but all the pads i buy shift. it gets uncomfortable. ... show more

I've been using these pads for over a year and they can be hard to find in stores in my area and because of that I've had to try a few other brands in a pinch. Each time I did that I was disappointed. They were just not as good as the Honeypot pads! These pads keep you feeling and smelling fresh thanks to the essential oils. At first the cooling sensation was a tiny bit alarming and I wasn't sure I liked it. But I gave them another try and now I can't imagine going back to regular pads like Always. Even the Seventh Generation unbleached pads were not as good. These pads also absorb a lot and I haven't had any problems with leaks. I can wear them in the summer time and not worry about smelling sweaty down there or feeling gross. ... show more

Honeypot is my new go to for feminine products. I purchased the regular flow pads and panty spray and I used them at separate times and just love them. It could me a mental thing but I feel more dry and secure when using the spray on these warmer days. Then when using the pads I love the minty sensation I feel when wearing them. They absorb and hold well. Don't shift around and the adhesive on the back is strong enough to keep it stationary but doesn't destroy your panty when time to discard. Most importantly no irritation! These are hands down the only pads I will ever use again if I can help it. The first time I used them, I'm not gonna lie I was caught off guard by the mint. I may have let out a really high pitched "HOOOOOOOOOO" when I pulled my undies up. But I'm telling you, I bled more than normal, it was healthy and had no weird period odor, I wasn't swollen. This product is 100% amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone. In fact, I've already recommended it to 6 women I know. I tried these pads because I’ve heard great things about that. I used these pads in October and it definitely gives you a tingly/cooling sensation. It only took a few minutes to adjust. I like the pad still smelled like essential oils even after blood flow. I always felt refreshed. I only have a cycle every 3 months so I had some left. This time I went to use them and it still smelled like the oils but I didn’t get that tingly/ cool sensation. I wonder how long does it actually last once the pack is open. I did keep them it in original pack. Overall they were comfortable. I will buy again. ... show more
