My dog has been very happy with this dog food. She meticulously licks her bowl clean after each meal. We feed the beef and the white fish so far but plan on adding turkey. We started feeding it 2+ months ago. Their recipes are very nutritious and balanced. The owner of a dog that I frequently watch has switched her dog to this food. Both dogs have been doing extremely well on it - no more soft poop - which had been an on-going problem for both dogs. ! I love it also because it is so convenient. I had been searching for a new dog food because my old favorites have all been bought out by the companies who made the foods that I would not feed my dogs. Since my dog is small I buy the 4 lb boxes. I feed my 20-pound Boston Terrier 1/2 cup of food per day. That 4 lb box lasts a long time which makes it quite a value for the money. I love the fact that they use human human grade food. I can't imagine why anyone would want to feed their dog a food that lists chicken meal as its first ingredient, looks like little dried up pieces of poop and smells awful :-( when they can feed them human grade food. I have bought Honest Kitchen intermittently for my last two dogs over the years. I have a love for the bully breed who unfortunately are often plagued with skin issues. I appreciate the high quality limited ingredient dog food. This is the first time I bought the dehydrated fish. The smell is gross, but not over powering and it looks like a bowl of slop. My dog LOVES it. Her diet is mostly dry kibble, this food is given to her approximately 4 times a week as an additive. ... show more

So happy with the dog food. My dogs love it. They start to beg as soon as they see me open the cabinet. I stir in enough warm water to make it oatmeal consistency and allow it to sit for about two minutes. I can see the real vegetable in the food. You cannot return this item, if it doesn't work well for your dog. I am determining the best food for my dog and tried this. His stools are too soft and I have been experimenting with various solutions. This food did not help so I wanted to return it. My dog has had a severe allergy so we have been trying elimination diets before spending a ton on tests. We love the chicken and beef version of this but she reacted.
