Second time purchaser because they last long and easy to see. Last purchase was about 4 years ago specifically for a black mailbox which gets hit with afternoon sun and other extreme weather. I place clear packing tape over the numbers to enhance durability since temps range from 10 to 100 degrees depending on the season. The tape appears to work. Great value except that the numbers are all not the same size from top to bottom. I had to trim them so that they were they were even in a straight line.

Picked up numbers with my new mailbox at the local hardware store. The store-bought numbers peeled in the heat very same day. As soon as these came I cleaned the box with an alcohol swab and applied these. They have withstood 100+ temps and inclement weather without incident. Very glad I found these. ... show more

    • edges curl up when used outside.

these are beautiful when new, but when used on a mailbox outside the gold wears off and the edges curl. good for about a year then have to be replaced.

While absolutely a first world problem, as a semi-perfectionist, I prefer letters, numbers to line up evenly with none being larger size than the other. These numbers are great for their function, but applying them with the stickers being different heights looks off to me. Again, first world issue.
