Clean area where number go with alcohol wipes. Dry with paper towel. These numbers really stick! I put the wrong one on and could not get it off. I just stuck the correct number on top. Very thin vinyl, so it doesn't show. Only I know (and now you!) Rectangular numbers peel easily from backing. Just bend the backing back at one corner and you will be able to easily peel the number rectangle off. Remember, you only get one chance to stick these down, so work slowly and carefully.     • Not number shaped labels - they are white rectangular labels with black numbers printed on them.

This is a very good price for this kit of 2-inch numbers. I only wish the pictures had clearly shown that these are black numbers surrounded by a white box, so if you want just the black number, in order to put it on a glow plate or a light colored mail box that you want as the contrasting color, this is not the kit to get. I wanted number shapes, not rectangles, so I ended up having to cut the white parts off, which is hard to do with numbers that are curved or that have shapes that require internal cutouts. The adhesive holds up well -it was not too strong when I was positioning the numbers, but once I pressed down these seem to be firmly affixed. ... show more

Looks good and simple enough. Unsure if glue is adequate since a few of the ones I attached to plastic totes are already lifting. I think these ones function better on a non porous flat surface .. we will await and see what happens

Sticker letters always come in handy for a variety of chores. These are just the right size for just about anything and they stay where they are placed. Nice uniform letters that are quick and easy to read in word form. I would get these again if needed.
