Clean area where number go with alcohol wipes. Dry with paper towel. These numbers really stick! I put the wrong one on and could not get it off. I just stuck the correct number on top. Very thin vinyl, so it doesn't show. Only I know (and now you!) Rectangular numbers peel easily from backing. Just bend the backing back at one corner and you will be able to easily peel the number rectangle off. Remember, you only get one chance to stick these down, so work slowly and carefully.
