  • Fabulous book!
This is the 3rd of Shad's books that I have read, having discovered him a few years ago. I love the way he breaks up his writing with many sub-titles in each chapter. It makes it so much easier to read and to find a stopping place. This book is required reading for anyone who wants to take their life up a notch. You can put his suggestions easily into practice, without having to spend dollars and hours with a psychotherapist or counsellor. ... show more

  • Powerful self help literature
Shad Helmstetter is one of my favorite self help authors. His writing style is simplistic and thoughtful. Helmstetter's words of wisdom serve as a superior guide toward inspiring the reader to experiencing authentic personal growth.

  • Amazing!
This book is an eye opener to your soul. Great read but must be read a few times to get to the core of your true Gift.

  • Decent Personal Growth Book for the Arbonne Consultant
Shad Helmstetter has written nearly a dozen books on self-talk, self-motivation and personal growth. I picked up this one because I find his message decent, though I am not generally a fan of his somewhat choppy writing style. The book is obviously geared for Arbonne consultants. The president of the company does the intro, and scarcely a page goes by where Arbonne isn't mentioned or intomated. The "Gift" is actually a series of 12 relative common personal growth themes: *Surround Yourself with Success *Choice *Help Other People Grow *Believe in Yourself *Change your Self-Talk *Exceptional Attitude *Find your focus *Set goals *Control your time *Take action *Never give up *Do something you love The book, being geared for MLM/Arbonne, is an easy read, and the principles are applicable to anyone. However, the over the top pitching for Arbonne makes it a little less readable and desirable for the generalist. ... show more

  • As Expected
This is not a new book. However, I have shared it with patients for many years . I am a counselor and wanted to insure I had at least one extra copy which I why I bought this one.

  • A Worthy Gift for Anyone- Even Yourself
Written as a book to help those selling Arbonne, this is an excellent book for those seeking to improve their goal setting and deciding what they want to do with their life whether they are in sales or not. As an older reader who has read many motivational books, I found this one very easy to read and understand and still be interesting and helpful. Many of the ideas presented are not new, but you may see the suggestions in a whole new light. ... show more

  • A Must Have Book
Wasn't sure at first about whether this was something I should read but after getting into it and finishing it...WOW....I'm telling everyone in my team that they NEED to read this. If you are in an Arbonne group already or considering to join, please take the time to read this book, it will change your life and truly be a gift to share with others. ... show more

  • This is The Best "Feel Good" Book you will ever read !
An easy read, this book is so good I give it as a gift to my friends. If you only have time to read one book a year, this would be it. Never has anyone made it so simple to understand what it takes to be sucessful and happy in any area of your life.
