Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion for the PS5 has around 19gb of data on the disc and requires a 100gb update. So the entire game is not on the disc but I get that as it’s a big game size wise. The deluxe content is on a voucher so not it’s not on the disc. But the price is lower than the digital deluxe edition which this is essentially the physical version of. If you have been interested in playing this game, and you have a disc drive on your console, I would buy it this way over the digital version. It’s cheaper and has the perk of being physical even if the whole game is not on the disc. The gameplay is what you remember but improved in every way with great Quality of Life Features and much better graphics.

Update*** after installing and waiting 3 hours to play and a little homework I’ve learned you can not play this single player game without the internet to download the rest of the game. Why TF they released this is beyond cash grab. Do not purchase if you think the base game or complete game is ready to go on disk, this is no different than Nintendos game key card scam. Physical media is dying! So awesome to have a physical copy! Came early and I’m glad to finally have it on PS5, I purchased on Xbox thinking the cross platform play would be work but apparently my PC is too old for this game. Yes I paid for this one again but it’s physical and only $40!

Regardless of the stutter, this game is incredible. Anyone who loved the original will be most pleased with this adaptation. A worthy game for anyone who loves The Elder Scrolls series.

it brings back a lot of memories—Cyrodiil looks gorgeous now with the visual overhaul. The lighting, textures, and character models are much improved, and I appreciate all the expansions included (Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine made for nice bonuses). The updated UI, sprinting, and quality-of-life tweaks make it a lot more approachable than the original. That said, it isn’t perfect. I’ve noticed frequent frame drops and stutters, especially in outdoor areas or when transitioning between zones, which pull me out of the immersion. Also, some animations and NPC behavior still feel a bit stiff or awkward less polished than more modern RPGs. Overall, if you loved Oblivion growing up, this remaster is definitely worth checking out. It delivers a mostly faithful return with modern touches, but don’t expect it to be flawless. And finally, it is somewhat disappointing that the disk only has 19GB, you have to download about 90GB, which is absurd.

Good game I have thousands of hours on skyrim but never played oblivion. I love that they made a physical copy thank you Bethesda. The quest story lines are amazing, and the game looks incredible. The fighting leaves a bit to be desired from a pure mage standpoint, but I think if I convert to a battlemage it'll go better

This seems like they are trying to trick people, like they tricked me, into getting a "physical edition" except this isn't a physical edition The reason people collect a physical copy of the game is to have a full finished version of the game on disk available offline, anytime, anywhere. Instead of installing the whole game from disk/s, This disk that allows you to download the game from PSN So, it just seems to gives you access to the digital version of the game, but you have to insert the disk to play this digital copy.... It would be less ridiculous if this was just a case with a download code. This is a terrible, unappealing, pointless product
