I bought this white jacket in a medium. I also ordered a large black jacket in the same style. I am a size 10 -12 dress. I am not one that has thin arms. My shoulders and arms are my usual trouble spots and that is why I ordered the 2 sizes. When they came in and they both seemed to fit except the sleeve length & my curvy hips caused the back vent to stay open on the medium. The large was a bit large across the shoulders but I liked the rest of the fit, long sleeve length was still an issue. A trip to the tailor finalized my decision - keep both. The medium required sleeve shortened about an inch and vent closed so it won't stay open calling attention to my full hips. It fits like a nice suit jacket now. The large black jacket required an inch hem on the sleeves. The shoulders weren't enough to fix. As she gave me the thumbs up I feel good with both of them. The black is a casual jacket fit. I am impressed with the fit, the lining, and the workmanship. I have purchased clothing from Amazon in the past and either returned or given away everything. This is the first jacket I will be keeping & wearing. The lining gives the jacket the structure needed to look good while wearing. The seems are straight. There are minimal loose threads. I have the Brown plaid (it has browns and black herringbone check) that I wear in cooler weather (it's synthetic but looks like wool) and the white (which must be polyester) which I bought for summer and love them both. I just ordered another in tan. They fit nicely and for the price they look great. (I mean they're not $200 blazers) I just wear once in a while so they are holding up. The plaid may lose it's shape over a few years, ?, but for the price I'll figure I'll get my money's worth. However, I have ordered the linen ones which came all bunched up and had no body to them, they looked sloppy. I returned them. I'm 71 yrs, 5'7" and 190lbs. I like to dress stylish but lately its hard to find inexpensive things that look good. These do. I do not know how they will wash. ( I don't get them very dirty so I may dry clean once a year as long as I still like them. Just be aware, some fabrics are not as good as others. Beautiful jacket. Lining and tailored fit on the back are really nice. It does run a bit small in the upper arms and thru the chest however so I will be returning the XL I ordered.

This blazer has a nice fabric for spring and fall. Best of all it's on the long side, so if I'm wearing a long sweater underneath, it covers. That's very important to me. Fits true to size and very comportable.

I’ve been looking for a lightweight white jacket for about 5 years now and have bought everything from a $20 jacket from H&M to a $200 jacket from Theory and just wasn’t pleased. This jacket was recommended on a blog I follow. The reviews on Amazon were extremely contradictory. When I looked up my height and weight, and the jacket color, folks my size found it both too big AND too small 😳 Also, I was a little concerned by a few that said it couldn’t be returned. Anyway, I took a deep breath and ordered a medium which is smaller than the large I usually get and I couldn’t be happier. This is finally exactly what I was looking for! It’s lightweight but not flimsy, and a little longer in length (past my butt) and sleeve (which I like) and a little bit of stretch in it. The large would have definitely been too big. ... show more

Love the length; Medium is actually a little roomier than I thought (5'7, 160 lbs) so am going to order a small for comparison. It says not to wash it? Surprised that the fabric is quite nice and lays smoothly. I'd love a matching skirt! As far as fit, I read the reviews that said it ran large so ordered a small, it was a bit tight through my shoulders, returned it and ordered medium which fits perfectly. Probably equivalent to a size 8. I have long arms and sleeves were perfect; You can always hem to shorten, but not extend if too short. ... show more
