We purchased this back in December. We have used it every single day since. We live in the north so it’s rather cold! Despite the air being cold and the water sometimes getting a thin layer of ice…we do it every day. Why? Because of noticeable changes. My joint pain has improved, sleep has improved…and it’s just an amazing way to start my day. I will say, I didn’t feel different upfront, but after 3-4 weeks I felt the changes. It’s very sturdy. It’s easy to clean and drain. No problems with leaks, but we don’t drag it all over. One spot. Love it.

** UPDATED: The manufacturer contacted me 1 day after my original review. After sending them a couple of pictures, they shipped me a brand new Ice Pod! Excellent customer service!! ** **Original Review** We were very pleased with this item until recently. It’s a good size and holds water as it should. It isn’t insulated, so it’s no surprise that it doesn’t keep the water cold in the summer. Where it became a disappointment is when a seam in the inflatable section came undone and no longer holds air. As a result, when my husband sits in the tub, all the water starts spilling over the edge. By the time his 5 minutes is up, half the water is gone. So it’s wasting a lot of water (which we are billed for in our neighborhood) and he isn’t getting a good soak. I didn’t think this would last forever. I did hope it would last a lot longer than 5 months.

We have been satisfied with this ice bath. It sits on the balcony of our townhome. During the winter it stays a perfect cold temperature that doesn't require ice. The cover makes it nice to keep things out. The XL size works for me and I am 6'7". The set up was really easy and it doesn't take up too much room.

Great ice bath. Holds shape and fits my 5'9 185# frame with plenty of room. Holds ice cold temperature even during summer. Two drain plugs allows fast draining and I was able to store it away during the Northeast freezing winters.

Easy to set up and well built. This pod is sturdy for its intended purpose, I'm sure if you abuse it, it wouldn't last as long. Maintains temperature really well and the cover is great. I have already drained and moved it once and it was super easy to move. I'm 6'0" and this larger size fits me perfectly, I can sit all the way down and it gets up to my shoulders. I don't know if the smaller size would have fit as well. Overall, very happy with this purchase and I would highly recommend!

The "soft sides" kinda collapse easily, even when filled with water. I've been in actual inflatable pods (not just the top ring) that give a sturdier feel to them. The inflatable top ring is NOT formed correctly to be on this unit. When you inflate it, there are odd "kinks" on the top ring that come when you force an inflatable object that is formed to be straight to sit on something that is curved. If I had to guess, I got a unit that was rushed to production to either keep up with demand, or to relieve back-orders, because it doesn't setup as nice as the picture shows, with a nice, curved profile for the top ring. A gripe; You have no choice but to run the supply tubes for the chiller over the top, which means that if you're using a chiller, the top won't sit/seal well. Many other units offer supply/return spigots built into the side to allow a more streamlined unit. Just a gripe, the picture didn't show that it had them when I bought, but for the money, I don't see why a few dollars in PVC fittings couldn't have been included. While this may be an entry-to-mid level unit, for what it is (A medium sized piece of vinyl shaped to hold water), I still don't think there's anything remotely approaching $197 in material, workmanship or design here. This may be a "pop-up" manufacturer, looking to cash in on the craze, and fold-up shop once the $$ is made, but only time will tell. The unit holds water, and the chiller (purchased separately) keeps the temperature, so I have no choice but to say "It works...". The rest here forces me to say, "...but."
