  • Functional!
Style: Pink, Square Holes
Very easy to use! Instructions were easy to follow and apply. Light weight and easy storage when not being used. I made a mistake when punching, but that was user error and a learning experience! Would recommend this product!!! Thanks!

  • Love this brand
Style: White, Circle Holes
I was happy to buy this. So perfect when I making my notebooks and journals. Very beneficial to my small business. To preserve this hole puncher and keep it in good shape, try not to cut thru paper more than the amount required.

  • Is It Possible To Be In Love With A Machine?
Style: White, Circle Holes
I am absolutely over the moon in love with this CINCH!! It makes creating your own books - well, a cinch!! So easy to use and very sturdy. I have no doubts that this thing will be in my crafting tools arsenal for a long, long time. Creation options are endless! Make anything from junk journals, calendars, planners, scrapbooks, and anything you can imagine in book form. It takes a little practice if you want to make something notebook size as two punches are required but once you get it down, it's easy. Just practice on scrap. Then, go nuts!! ... show more

  • I had so much fun using the cinch
Style: Pink, Square Holes
I had so much fun using the cinch. Packaging: it was very well protected. It was shipped to me internationally through amazon and arrived in great condition and i paid half of what I usually would pay using a second forwarder company. I was a little annoyed when i first used this tool cause I noticed like black oil around the punched edges. I wouldn't blame the company or amazon ot the carrier cause i live in a very hot country i would assume that it was caused by the heat and also i used it immediately as soon as it arrived and it was still hot. I tried to clean it before i use it on my project. So if you live in a hot place you might experience the same problem however it is easy to clean. Try to wipe it and punch few times before you start your project. The functionality of the prodect itself is great. It was very easy to use especially if you watch YouTube videos before you try it. The instruction book that comes with it is not very helpful cause it is very huge and u need a lot of space to open it and read it. So I didn't really benefit from it. The cinch punches square holes. And on the cinch itself you can see what peg to pull depending on the size of paper you will use. And you should not exceed 20 sheets of light weight paper at one time. I would also prefer to punch each chipboard individually. it was hard for me to figure out what is the size of the binding wire that i was using since the wire i bought didn't have the instructions on the box ( I used the heidi swapp cinch insta album kit) so i had to visually figure out when to stop pressing over the binding wire. I used the heidi swapp cinch insta album kit with the cinch and this is my first project using such a tool. I definitely don't regret buying it even though it cost me a lot since i live in UAE and the shipping costs are very high especially for heavyweight products. Things you will definitely need to have fun with this tool are: Wire clippers Binding wires Chipboards Papers Stickers If you have any question i will be more than glad to help. ... show more

  • This is great!
Style: White, Circle Holes
I am a special Ed teacher and have been making my own reading notebooks for kids to use, as well as a due process notebook and my own planner. This machine is super easy to use. You will need to play with it a little bit if you are looking for perfection in your notebooks. One side punches the holes. The next side holds the comb to put your punched papers into, the 3rd side squishes the comb down to make the notebook secure. I recommend watching some you tube videos for tips on using this the best way possible. The directions that come with are good, but content maker videos take you farther.. highly recommended. I will note: this is not long enough to punch (or squeeze/cinch) a regular length notebook- you need to punch twice and cinch twice (which is another reason those videos are helpful) this is portable which is very convenient, so for me offsets the inconvenience of double punching/cinching. ... show more

  • Love, hate relationship
Style: White, Circle Holes
I have made a couple of photo books and several calendars with my Cinch. When it's good, it's very good; but when it's bad...The biggest problem I have had is with misalignment and misplacement. I couldn't figure out why I was getting misaligned holes on the long side of 8-1/2 by 11 inch paper. Then I realized that the slide that is not pulled out when you start punching that length was not pushing all the way in. It turns out that some of the punched bits of paper were stuck at the end and were causing a slight misalignment. Similarly I was having trouble pushing the paper all the way in and discovered that bits of paper were stuck at the back edge and were keeping paper from going as far into the punching mechanism as they should. This occurred even when the bin that holds the punched bits was not overly full. For this reason, I recommend keeping a good stack of scrap paper nearby and testing frequently as I used up a lot of expensive paper because of this problem. A straightened paper clip is useful for "unsticking" the Cinch. Tips I have learned in the short time I have been using the Cinch: 1. Trust the guide on the left side and be sure your paper is lined up flush and parallel with it. 2. Make sure that the paper is pushed all the way to the back of the punching mechanism and check visually if you have any doubts. 3. Getting the wires closed takes practice. I have found it helpful to have some kind of support under the pages when closing the wires. A book of the correct depth will work. I read someone else's tip to first close the wires with the recommended diameter and then push again with a slightly smaller diameter setting. Even so, I have sometimes resorted to closing the wires further with my fingers, and I still do not always get perfectly rounded wires. 4. To avoid wasting ink as well as paper, punch your pages in advance of printing when possible. 5. Don't punch too many sheets at once, and be particularly careful with thicker paper. 6. Pay close attention to the instructions that come with your Cinch, and watch online videos if necessary. In spite of these problems I am not sorry that I bought the Cinch, and I think that with practice and with what I have learned so far it will get easier to use. ... show more
