I was hoping that I did not get the incorrect size. I wanted something my daughter could grow into. She is a 5 but also a 6 in some things when it comes to bottoms. They have adjustable waist!! I bought this skirt for my 9 year old (50lbs and 4'10") and it's pretty loose on her. I tightened the waist adjuster and it's fine, just bunched up. She loves it though!

This is a cute skirt made of cotton at a price that can’t be beat. My daughter weighs 100 lbs and 5’2” and is very petite and size 14 was too big and 12 fit but it was still loose even after adjusting the waist. She thought it was good enough until she tried a different softer cotton version without the pleats by Children’s place. She tried the size L and XL and the L fit her really well. I suggested keeping this one so she can have a variety since she needs several navy skirts but she was adamant that she wouldn’t wear this one so that’s my honest review. I suggest trying the other cotton one and choose between the two. I’ll be trying their pants as well as we need lots of uniforms so check out my handle for the review coming up soon.
