One of the greatest debut albums ever for a rock band. This is essential, a must for classic or new wave rock and roll fans. This 180g pressing sounds excellent. Cannot recommend this enough!

I drop the needle & am transported back to a simpler time. Me & my sixteen year old self in my “new” 13yo 1966 Impala with the Tandy Corp/Radioshack 8 track player, 3 way Kenwood speakers freshly cut into the doors and rear deck (under the “monkey fur”). Replacing the “original equipment” AM radio. Moving in stereo! Don’t cha stop! The Impala, Radio shack 8 track, Monkey Fur & Kenwood speakers are long gone. As are most of the Orig. Cars. But I’m still here to enjoy my “yute”. When this music was “new”, it was so new, crashing on the shore of rock like a wave. A new wave. Now classic. Amazing debut album! ... show more

Excellent debut album. The vinyl sounds amazing. The record itself is heavy duty 180g and I really appreciate the thick sleeve as well. The only caveat though is... What's this nonsense description stating "Color Vinyl"? It's black, which technically is the absence of color. I was kind of looking forward to another cool color vinyl in my collection. Oh well, it's still great nonetheless. Just please remove the "Color Vinyl" description to avoid any further confusion. ... show more
