Like so many others, I had tried EVERYTHING in our acrylic/fiberglass tub and showers. Bleach, baking soda, electric scrubbing brushes, you name it. I actually bought this just for the glass doors but on a whim decided to try it on the shower and tub walls and it worked like MAGIC. (And the smell wasn’t overwhelming or harsh) It *did* require some elbow grease for the worst spots. First I used a scrub brush and that took quite a bit of scrubbing (we bought from original owners, this was decades of yuck). Before tackling the kids bath, I purchased a ***plastic*** scrapper/razor which worked wonders. I let the spray sit for 10 minutes then scrapped and it came up right away and wiped off with a soft cloth. Huge win for my back! Strongly recommend pairing with the plastic scrapper for tough jobs and following up with a scrub using the Pink Paste. Use gloves as well- this really dried out my hands.

Absolutely brilliant stuff. Our fiberglass tub is old, and is pebble textured (like a basketball or football) on the bottom. Has been near impossible to get clean, as it's been near impossible to get to the bottom of the texture. Soap scum combined with some harder-water mineral deposits are our problem. Have tried a seemingly endless list of spray-on cleaners, including some specifically called out for use on soap scum - none of them have been effective. Tried this. Wasn't expecting much. Sprayed it on and let it sit for a few minutes and rinsed. Hmm... it did seem to pull up some scum/grime. So tried it again. Sprayed, let sit, only this time scrubbed lightly with my cordless drill and the bullet-shaped brush from this kit (https://a.co/d/g0qkZWy). The liquid the brush was moving around turned positively brown. Rinsed. It was nearly white, it removed nearly all of the scum/grime. Had to hit a few spots a couple times, and let spray sit a little longer (not long enough for it to evaporate). The tub is virtually spotless. Far and away the best cleaner I've used for this purpose. Will be buying more. (And that brush really made the scrubbing part easy.)

On the good side, this product does a good job of softening hard soap scum, so it can be easily removed with a sponge. Compared to similar products, it's easy on the breathing, too, so you won't be choking and gagging while using it in the confines of a shower stall. On the downside, the product is at the upper end of the price scale compared to similar products, and when mine was delivered, the sprayer was broken and useless right out of the package; very disappointing considering the price. I was so angry that I almost tossed the whole thing into the trash, but fortunately, I was able to use a sprayer from another, almost empty, cleaning product that fit this product's bottle. Considering this product's performance and inoffensive smell, I would have given it five stars, but it gets four instead because of the lousy sprayer.

Best cleaner for hard water and soap scum I’ve ever encountered. I need to keep the vent on when I use it, but otherwise it’s very easy to use. Spray, let it sit, then scrub away! Makes the task so easy.

The Bucko Soap Scum and Grime Cleaner (32oz + Sprayer) surpasses all ecxpectations. comes well packaged, no leakage. Refreshing smell, easy to use, and by far the most effective soap scum buster ever! We have very hard water and fiberglass showers; I sprayed Bucko as directed and was going to wait 20-30 minutes before scrubbing the scum off. Surprise…no waiting or scrubbing! It literally broke down the scum and hard water stains! So i started on the shower doors (those rippled pseudo-glass demons!) - again this stuff ate away the grime and made them nearly perfect! The shower fixtures are the cheap silver colored metal that had built up rust and scum. I had to use an old toothbrush a bit but Bucko did ALL the heavy lifting! Amazing stuff and well priced considering how effective it is! Word of caution, though: keep the work area well ventilated; I have COPD and noticed my nose, throat and lungs got a little irritated after working 1/2 hour inside the shower - duh! (i didn’t ventilate, so that’s on me). No harm, no foul. Amazing stuff!! Deserves 20 stars!

It was worth the cost. It won't remove the mildew. But does a far superior job than other cleaners which really stinks up my room with a chemical smell. The first time didn't remove everything, because that is how difficult the scum was to remove given how hard CA water is. Second time around, spraying a generous amount and letting it sit, it removed absolutely all the soap scum in my tub, and shower doors.
