When I showed my daughter how this looper works, she observed, "It's a tool, not a machine, but it looks like a useful tool!" She couldn't be more right. If you're into beading, you *need* this tool. That said, it's not a machine. As a previous reviewer suggested, take some time to experiment with it before you work with it on an actual project. I'd add that it's a good idea to experiment with a bead or two when you begin a new project. It behaves a little differently, not surprisingly, with differently shaped beads and different thicknesses of eye pins. That said, it's been life-altering. I've done so much more beading since i bought it! -- it makes beading faster, easier, and more comfortable, because my poor old hands don't have to work so hard. Absolutely worth every penny! Strongly, strongly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Handy tool, but takes practice The concept of this one-step looper is great, and when it works, it creates nice, consistent 1.5 mm loops that save time during jewelry making. That said, it’s not always easy to use. At times it cuts the wire before fully bending and forming the loop, which can be frustrating. There’s definitely a learning curve, and results improve with practice and careful positioning. Overall, it’s a useful tool for the right wire gauges, but patience is needed to get consistent results.

Short Answer: Add to cart NOW. It's so good! Long Answer: I really wish I had this device three years ago when I struggled making my own loops for dangly clip earrings. I worked so hard and watched so many YouTube videos and maybe 1 out of five loops I made were acceptable. I spent probably 20 hours to make 10 pairs of earrings! I am a perfectionist so that didn't help. I love restoring vintage pieces and using vintage beads for new things. So a tool like this for head pins is essential. I would only use this for making earrings. But oh, how satisfying to make machine-made looking loops. I was able to get the loop very close to the bead. And you can get the loop right up to the bead if you're working with smaller beads - say 5 cm or smaller. It is a bit harder to get the loop snug up against larger beads because of the way the tool works. But the loops look so nice you will hardly care about a millimeter or two. Some notes of caution: Your head pins will need to be at least 1" long. Even better if they're slightly longer. Be careful when using glass beads. If you finagle it to get the loop closer to the bead, you can chip the bead when closing the loop. Give yourself at least an hour to learn how this thing works. You'll find you can kind of cheat it a bit to get the loops snugger and closer to the bead. Pick a time when it's quiet and you're not stressed. It's very simple to use, but if you're wiling to sit down with some test beads and test headpins you will be amazed. I gasped in disbelief at my very first result! Eventually you will develop a sort of muscle memory and it will go so quick you will get an endorphin rush. Finally, not every loop will be perfect so just know that maybe 1 out of 6 will need to be redone so have some good wire cutters nearby to try again.
