I bought a copy of this book for my son ahead of a family trip to PNC Park in Pittsburgh (I highly recommend this ballpark, too). The photos and information about each park made for a fun read for my little boy, and me, as well. The "experience" section is fun to fill out, such as "Who played today that you thing will be in the HOF someday?" We watched a game where Gunnar Henderson, Adley Rutschman, and Andrew McCutcheon were all playing. That was fun to fill out. The scorebook in the back of the book is a great bonus. This book will be well loved and used until we achieve our goal of seeing a game in every MLB stadium, although some parks may not be in existence (Tropicana in Tampa,FL for example) by the time we get there! ... show more

This is a really beautiful book. There are four pages dedicated to notes about each stadium, which is nice. I love the stuff they ask to fill out about each one. It was really cool that it includes info about spring training parks as well. And the leather like cover is really nice. Would make an excellent gift. ... show more

My husband loved this as his gift. We already used it and it was great to record what we liked about the stadium. Just wished it actually had a spot to stamp. We just used a little open area next to the ratings. But all in all a good purchase for the price!

We bought these for our boys before we did a summer tour of quite a few stadiums. They absolutely love filling them out as we sit and watch games. It’s something they’ll keep forever that will carry so many memories.

    • Quality Ballpark Journal
Right away when you see this journal the leather-like cover conveys a feeling of premium quality. The pages are full color with a nice thickness. It's clear some effort was put into making this book look and feel good. The book is basically a checklist journal for experiencing each MLB ballpark. There is some introductory information on Spring Training parks, but no checklists for those. Each ballpark is given a unique one paragraph introduction, but other than that all of the checklist stuff is identical for every park. They cover a lot of interesting aspects of the ballpark experience like the quality of hot dogs and if you catch a foul ball. At the back of the book are blank pages for autographs and 6 sets of scorecards. Overall, it's a fun checklist style journal. I knocked it down a point because of the scorecards. There are only 6 included, even though there are 30 ballparks. They are at the back of the book instead of after each ballpark. It makes no sense- if you're journaling your experience of the park you're going to want the scorecard right next to it. There is a QR code to download additional scorecards, but the book's subtitle is "The Ultimate Scorecard." It conveys the idea that scorecards are an integral part of the book, but they feel like an after thought. To me, filling out a scorecard for a ballgame is a really fun hobby. It lets me engage the game on a different level and remember all the details. Of course I would want to fill out a scorecard for each park I visit as I try to hit them all. The other thing that feels like is missing from this book is an attached bookmark ribbon. ... show more
