Marriage counselors in our church have taken this course first to see how well the needed message is being presented. It was a shock to see how personal the presenters in The Act of Marriage were in this issue of marriage. They explicitly touched on every gliches (areas of discomfort) marriage can experience. We've been performing Art of Marriage conferences in an intimate setting in our home with 7-8 couples. Wonderful experience. Highly recommend this product. Although it looks like they're no longer a Prime eligible item which is unfortunate.

    • Great series! This book is independent of video series- doesn't contain group discussion questions
This was an excellent study for our small group, and stimulated good conversation for us as a couple outside the group. It contains "date ideas" to go with each week's topic. However, we discovered this is not the book designed to go with the video series. The content/chapters match, but the page numbers referenced on the video are different. This books seems to be designed to use without the video, as it actually contains more information, that you'll have to read at another time. This book also DOES NOT contain the group discussion questions. There is a separate book designed for the video, that has those. Wish that had been more clear in the description; we would've purchased that one instead. ... show more

    • Art of Marriage workbooks
My husband and I needed these for a couples class at church. They were used but were like brand new. They went along with a video that was shown in class along with discussions. I would recommend these books to couples even if they are not taking the class. They are very insightful.

This item was marketed as couples manuals (2 manuals included), but we only received one. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!

    • IMPACTFUL!
This seminar is amazing for couples in any stage in life! I have hosted 2 of them and will continue to host many more and bring this kind of knowledge to as many people as I can. This is something we all need. Healthy marriages make up healthy families, which in turn make up good communities!
