It dug a good hole. Roughly 6 feet long, 4 feet wide and 8 feet deep, without breaking. When the corpse started to move, the shovel helped put it back down. All in all, a great pre *and* post-apocalyptic tool.

Pretty cheaply made. I have two Union shovals, and had them for years. They are both heavy-duty, and have served me well. This new one will last for years too, because it will rarely get used. I live on a farm, and this shovel won't cut it. I will keep it, and let my grandchildren use it.
