I bought this rake last fall and didn't really put it to good use until this spring. I found this thatch rake to be highly effective in removing thatch. I was truly impressed and it allowed me to rake in areas that my electric Dethatcher cannot reach. I brought it over my daughters home to help with yard work as she has a large yard and it really needed this. I used it in hard to get places and was able to remove large volumes of thatch. I was able to remove all the thatch and keep the good grass undisturbed. I can't say enough how well this works. The rake is very sturdy and can be adjusted to the length that works for you. The rake tines are very made of a very strong metal. I am thinking of purchasing one for my daughter to have at her home. I highly recommend this rake.

I used this dethatching rake to clean up the dead grass in my backyard, and it worked very well from the first use. The 13-inch wide rake head covers a large area, which helps save time during lawn maintenance. The heavy-duty steel construction feels durable and strong while working on tough patches of grass and soil. I really liked the adjustable 55-inch long handle because it reduced the need to bend over and made the job more comfortable. Assembly was quick and simple, and all the parts fit together nicely. The sharp rake teeth easily pulled up layers of dead grass, thatch, and moss without much effort. It also helped loosen compact soil areas, allowing the lawn to look healthier and refreshed. The handle grip feels comfortable and secure during longer use. I used it in both my yard and garden areas, and it performed well in different conditions. The rake stayed sturdy even when applying pressure on thicker thatch buildup. It works much better than a standard garden rake for lawn care tasks.

It does the job, however with 2 uses out of it, the bottom gets progressively bent out of place and one of the blades constantly rotates out of placement despite being tightened which makes the process more tedious and awkward.

Nice adjustable aluminum handle. Had to buy this to replace the one I got from Home Depot that was wood. I used that one and it snapped in ten minutes. Finished the whole lawn with this one, worked like a charm!

Metal threads in rake handle have worn out after a few uses and now the last piece (where your hand applies the torque) just slides out continuously. Avoid this product.
