For those not in the know, these are cool-looking cables that work as they normally would any other USB-C cable but look cool. These are usually used for custom keyboards on a person's work desk or PC gaming setup. The reason these are so cheap is that they're premade and very small compared to custom aviator cables. You're limited to the colors shown here instead of customizing the color of every part of the cable; allowing most people to match the cable to the exact colorway of their keyboard, deskmat, and other electronics in their setup. More expensive custom aviator cables tend to retain their shape better but I think that there are so many options out there that that's pretty inconclusive. A few vendors are also willing to make massively huge (or just longer) aviator cables if you're willing to pay for them. Honestly, there's a lot of dumb things in the custom keyboard hobby but massive aviator cables have to take the cake. At the end of the day, you can just buy a regular, straight cable and a cheapo plastic, mechanical keyboard and I think we all know that. If you're wondering what the big deal is; it's no different from buying $2-$300 sneakers because they're in a specific, limited edition colorway and another manufacturer comes out with the same colorway for $75; that's basically what's happening here. Most aviator cables are $50 - $100 from most e-tailers and online designers for the reasons explained. I actually like collecting these cables (as silly as it is) and happy somebody out there is forcing prices down. I'm also impressed with how many cable colors Tez Cables is churning out. I do want to mention that the ACTUAL use of aviator cables is so you can connect USB-C, mini and micro USB to the end by detaching and re-attaching different cable parts, ideally reducing the number of cables you have to buy and store. Maybe Tez already has those options but it may be worth looking into, to get more use out of these kinds of cables. I would do more research and shopping around though. Thanks for reading. It’s my first foray into aviator cables for keyboards but I’ve bought and made custom cables for some other items so I’m not a complete newbie. Overall quality is pretty nice, obviously there are some higher quality cables out there but they cost nearly or exactly twice as much. Their target was to produce a good quality mass produced cable and they definitely hit the mark. I’d definitely buy again. It’s hooked up to a GMMK pro and I haven’t had issues with malfunctioning keystrokes or any issues with RGB lighting.packaging was nice enough, comes in a box unlike your usual Amazon misc cables which come bagged, so no worries with damaged connectors in shipping hopefully. Goes really well with some Akko neon keycaps btw. ... show more

I've connected this to a Streak65, two Drop Alt boards, an NK65 and a Carina. No issues whatsoever. The other reviews claiming there is a difference in RGB brightness need to look at the MOBO power going to their USB's. The Drop keyboards require more power to run the LEDs than others, that's a fault of the keyboard, not the cable. The longer you have a cable, considering the coils and such, the more resistance and power loss there is. ... show more

I was prepared to return this product provided the negative reviews but I decided to risk the effort as it was half as expensive as the high end mech aviator cables and looked to be of decent quality. Item was delivered promptly and works perfectly. I tried it on the Keychron K8 and Ajazz K870T and it works. No issues as of writing this review. As others have stated, it can be a bit of a tight fit so be gently yet firm when inserting the USB dongle. I would absolutely purchase again if they had more mixed color variations. ... show more

Looks much better than the cable my keyboard came with, much less expensive than a lot of custom cables that were available at the time (I got mine 8/21). i'm a basic black kind og guy so i that sense you can do a lot more colorwise but I'm happy with the purchase.

Nice, clean-looking, and study cable! I've had no flaws with this after owning it for a few months. A fancy cable that gets the job done. The coil is pretty large which l personally love. Some who may not find that appealing should probably look elsewhere.

The coil is pretty large so if you're looking for a smaller coil, I'd look else where. Material of the cable feels solid. Both USB ends have a solid finish with its shrink tubing. The USB-C connector is a decent size. Works well with my Glorious GMMK Compact. It technically works with my HyperX Alloy Origins Core TKL. However, it is a pretty tight fit, and will likely damage the tubing over time. The aviator connector is a nice touch once it's screwed in. The screw connector does feel a little loose, but once it is connected it feels really good. Both keyboards have had no issues with connectivity or RGB power. ... show more

Appears to be good quality and hasn't caused any issues so far. He seems happy, so I am happy. A little bit pricey IMO for what it is. Probably the price is as high as it is due to it being hyped by streamers. Like that it comes in several colors to choose from.
