    • Run ~2 sizes bigger than the number. 2 diff. pair proved it. THIN tongue and ankle with high lace.

They seem to run nearly a full 2 sizes bigger than the size I ordered and what the shoe says itself. Returned for a size smaller, but I didn't go small enough but settled to wear 2 pairs of socks when i wear them. Upper ankle has no cushioning or any real support--not around the shoe or on the tongue and the laces go right around the tippy top of the tongue (and sometimes nearly over) the thin material, threatening your shin if you tie them tight. I use them as a work boot as a result. I would not feel good about doing any serious hiking in these. The water resistance is good and the sole material seems anti-slip and doesn't get caked with mud. For the right application, they might be what you need--just not a long, difficult hike because of the tongue/ankle setup, unless you got two pair of thick socks on and you like super thin tongue and ankle. They are durable for sure and the price was very low when I purchased them. I would not really recommend them unless you want exactly what i described. ... show more
