I found this while I was getting ready for my vasectomy. Seeing one that was built specifically for vasectomy recovery, along with all the positive reviews, helped make the decision easier. It showed up a couple days before my procedure, so naturally I had to try it on. I’d never worn a jock strap before, and honestly… it was kind of a liberating experience. The pouch size felt just right—not too tight, not too loose—and everything sat comfortably without needing any adjustment, though I learned that I couldn’t get too excited or it got pretty cramped. I put it on right after the procedure while getting dressed to go home. It kept everything supported, held the gauze in place, and made moving around a lot more comfortable than I expected. The pouch continued to feel secure without putting pressure in the wrong places, which made a big difference during those first couple days. Based on a few reviews on Amazon I wasn’t sure how useful the ice packs would be, but after letting one thaw for a couple minutes it fit right in the pocket and molded around everything which worked really well. I bought two pairs of these per a doctor recommendation. Was very much skeptical at first. However, found they were worth the cost for me and would buy again if doing it over. Here is what I liked: 1) Easy to discretely apply ice post surgery and keep the ice in place. Great benefit with a bunch of kids running around the house and while moving around.. 2) Good support. I didn't understand the importance of this until today. I had been wearing these every day post surgery (Fri to Sun) and had essentially no pain. I tried wearing just boxers to work today (I don't have briefs) and understood by the end of the day why support is important as I was walking a bit bull-legged by the end of the day and starting to feel some pain. Put these back on after getting home and was instantly more comfortable. Now, if I didn't have a house full of kids and also had some briefs in the drawer, a few bags of peas would probably have been just fine. However, that wasn't my situation. Also, a note on the ice packs. The image is very misleading on the part of the seller. It looks like there is ice for both sides, but that is not the case. The ice goes in a pouch in the front, not on the sides, and there is only room for one ice pack. However, the ice pack is big enough that it works fine. Just need to position everything correctly so the ice is on the right parts. It was also nice having 4 ice packs across the two pairs so I could rotate them through the freezer. Each one probably lasted around 20 minutes. As for size, I am 6', 220 and the X-large fit fine. I am guessing a large probably would have been fine as well (all the material can stretch out). ... show more

I got this for my husband for his vasectomy. He is incredibly happy with it. He went back to work about 36 hours after the procedure and he got great use from it. With his guidanc I'm giving a 5 star review. Very comfortable and convenient. Offers great support and being able to wear the ice packs while moving is a great added bonus. The ice packs fit snuggly into the pouch and stay in place well. I'm so happy to have bought this for him. I appreciate him going through this procedure for us to prevent future pregnancies and so I no longer have to take or use any type of contraception. After some searching I found this and got it for him and this product was worth every penny. My only negative comment is that I wish I had ordered it sooner. It arrived on time but I ordered it the day before the procedure and it took 2 days to arrive, so it showed up the day after. My fault, no fault on Amazon or than manufactures behalf. If you're going to have a vasectomy or your partner is going to have a vasectomy please please please order this. I got my husband the same size as he normally wears in underwear or basketball shorts and it fit perfect. Best $25 ever spent!!! ... show more

I can't say anything bad about this product. It's not often that I can truly say that but it did exactly what it says It's supposed to do. I was under the impression that each ice pack would go on each nugget and I was concerned about the rotation. That's not the way it works. The one ice pack will sit right on top of your ball bag and keep it cool while the other one is freezing again. The packs seem to freeze quicker than others for some reason so there was no issue with always having something nice and cold on my jewels. I was also concerned about being too cold and getting frostbitten but the layer of protection between was perfect. Great product and I would buy it again but I hope that I don't need a second vasectomy! Haha ... show more

Was very hopeful for this product, but it did not live up to the hype. The ice pouch is a nice feature and it felt comfortable, but the stitching on the leg bands gave out and rendered it useless. Keep in mind that I was not yanking it on or pulling too hard seeing as I had just had a procedure done, but the elastic bands gave out and it is not wearable. ... show more
