This gorgeous and well written book was clearly created by a knowledgeable Tesla Model S owner for other owners, fans and auto enthusiasts. I don’t own a Tesla yet, but I was very impressed with this book. It’s compact and beautifully illustrated with lots of photos of the car inside and out.     • Indispensable If You Own a Tesla
This is a well-written and beautifully photographed book describing the many features of the revolutionary Model S all-electric automobile. A comfortable 5-passenger sedan with a huge capacity for luggage, clothes and other belongings, the Model S uses no gasoline or oil, has a 265-mile range between charges, and has amazing acceleration whenever needed. Consumer Reports called it "the best car we have ever tested" in May 2013. I bought one last July and have concluded that it is the best car I have ever driven -- and that includes Mercedes-Benz and BMW. Written by a passionate Model S owner whose market is other MS owners, like me. The book contains lots of good info, but most of it is available from the owners manual and Tesla blogs. Puff piece for Tesla and doesn't get into the technical aspects of the car too deeply. Mostly an extensive sales brochure. Someone needs to write an in-depth book of the design, development, and manufacture of the Tesla as there is a dearth of this information available today.     • Great book. Especially if you considering buying a Tesla
I bought a Tesla. I am pleased but my decision making would have been easier if I had this book first. Shows color selection well and explains the other choices better than the web site. If you already own a Tesla, this book is the missing manual as far as I'm concerned. Highly recommended.
