I've had these for a year now and put about 1k miles on them; about 50/50 road and gravel, with some trainer miles in the winter. They are great on the road, fast rolling and relatively quiet. I think they are some of the faster rolling gravel tires you can buy. On gravel they perform well, but these are more of a hard-packed or light gravel tire. I wouldn't recommend them in mud or on large rocky stuff. They have been pretty tough; I never got a flat. The one con is that the tread does not last long. After about 750 mi my rear tire was getting bald in the center. So not the longest lasting tires, but for the price currently ($53) I think they are good buy if you're looking for a fast road and light gravel tire. I was able to set the bead with a hand pump, but they are tough to get over the rims. ... show more

Stable in the conditions I actually run into in San Diego, and 1-2 MPH faster than other 700c x 40mm gravel tires at the same level of effort. Assuming they stand up as well as my Pirellis have, I'll be sticking with these for all-weather commuting.

MUD In my opinion : Doesn't Like Mud. First time out, singletrack ride after 1 week of sunshine following a previous snow storm. Resulting in mud in the shade, dry in sun exposed. Tire had lost grip on the dry section following running thru the wet mud. Squirrely if needing to apply braking or sharp turn following mud bath. But in dry conditions on any size of loose gravel or rocky road, it displayed Very Good Ride Performance. If you ride concrete or road and No Gravel, there are other choices available. ... show more

I have a couple hundred miles on these and couldn't be happier with them both on gravel and pavement. My only complaint is that the bead is super difficult to break when removing them from the rims. If you frequently switch tires, be ready for a battle!

I think this is the first Contintental bike tire that I have ever had that was true to the size listed on the sidewall. I bought the Terra Trail which is available in the 40C size. When first mounted, it was 39cm, and after two days of sitting bellowed out to a true 40C. This was on a 23mm ID rim. The tire mounted easily with just air, I did not need to use a tube to initially set the bead as I have on other Continental tires. I added Bontrager blue sealant, and it sealed up perfectly. After two rides, I am liking these tires better than my old go-to Gravel King tires. These provide much more side traction and grip on chunkier gravel. It doesn't give you the floating feeling that you could wipe out at any moment while descending on chunky gravel. I like how it climbs, as the heavier lugs dig in better when out of the saddle. My only concern is over longevity based on reviews I have seen. Time will tell. ... show more

As other's have said, this newer version is not the 360g version that you see in reviews. Perhaps they needed to beef it up to get the e-bike rating; if so, I really wish they made a non-ebike version. These are going back as 425g is way to heavy for a 35mm tire.

This is a fast all round tire, not a great gravel tire. It does get the job done though if you know its limits, and can be wildly fast on hard pack
