The media could not be loaded. My mom wanted to loc her hair and do the extensions so we went with these based on the reviews . The finish product turned out nice. The hair is very stiff and scratchy upon arrival. I boiled the hair in a shampoo/ apple cider vinegar mix for 5 minuets and then I soaked it in hot water diluted with apple cider vinegar until the water cooled and then I washed the hair. That took away some of the stiffness. The hair did come with a locking needle and a rat tail comb. Mind you, I am a self-taught stylist and this was my first ever attempt at locing and also doing loc extensions. But I think it turned out very well. I would recommend this hair.

Recently cut and combed out my locs as I wasn't thrilled with the size of them. Ordered these to install and I love them. They don't have them in #2 (my color), so I ordered 1b. I used a color remover and it lifted the black and they're ready to be dyed once I make some adjustments. In the meantime, they're a beautiful deep, warm brown that's just a hair lighter than my natural hair. I also ordered too many, but now I have backups and can experiment with color on the extras!

I purchased this item off of faith! I was so afraid that it wasn’t going to match my hair color. But it turned out perfect! The hair is a little stiff and it did shed a bit but not much. It may feel a bit “prickly” as well but it’ll go away after awhile. Be sure to detox (apple cider vinegar, lime juice and baking soda) and wash these Locs before installing them. But overall I love them.
