I have been looking for a sewing table that can hold all three of my machines (a serger, a regular sewing machine and an embroidery machine) that didn't cost an arm and a leg and wasn't too big, for very long time. I found a sewing table that sort of worked for two machines but the pull out "shelf" had zero leg room so I had to sit sideways whenever I needed to use my serger. Definitely not ideal. And I had to keep moving the machines around as necessary since there was not room for all three at once. The big Koala cabinets are amazing but they are so expensive and they take up so much room and they really don't accommodate 3 machines very well. I was so happy to find this one. It is perfect! Well, almost perfect. I would have preferred that it had drawers on the sides instead of shelves, but I will be able to make it work. Most corner desks have an "L" shape where the sides come together which makes it difficult to put a machine there. This desk has a flat section which provides a perfect location for a third machine. Assembly wasn't too difficult. It took about 3 hours but I did it completely by myself. Well, almost...I'll get to that shortly. The parts were well marked and the directions were fairly clear. I didn't have any problems with the actual assembly. The reviewer who mentioned that the wings go in the back was helpful but I think I would have figured it out anyway. The correct screws were identified for each step. Not sure why some of the other reviewers had problems. The only part I had a hard time with was in the final step where you had to attach the desk tops to the frame. That was very difficult to do by myself so I had to get my boyfriend to help. I needed another set of hands to hold the flashlight so we could line up the holes in the tops and the frames and get the screws started in the holes. We were finally able to get all of the holes lined up and screws inserted, except for one. But, it is secured to the frame so well I don't think we will ever miss it. If you are a seamstress with multiple machines, this is the table for you! ... show more

Initial review of desk after just completing assembly. It is a very nice looking and pretty solid desk for the price. Simplistic and open, with good leg room. Note: One of the side pieces for the desk came with cracks in the lamination of the desktop. Have contacted the seller and will review with more or less stars depending on customer service. ... show more

Lot of table top space a true corner desk not just an "L" shaped desk that fits in the corner with 2 shelves on each side to hold whatever accessories you might need for reference that is a 32" Asus monitor in the center and room for another on the left. Aside from having to beat part # 9 & 10 together with a hammer for 20 minutes cause they would not go together assembly went just as the plans said/ The stand for elevating the monitor is not part of this table but I prefer having the monitor elevated gives even more room on the table ... show more

    • Some things to consider . . .

I had been looking for a corner desk to replace my very old one . . . this just looked wonderful. The color is perfect and for me it was pretty easy to put together. I needed an extra pair of hands at one point and my husband helped . . . but I was able to do the rest on my own. This desk is NOT big . . . I have 2 - 27" monitors, a tablet screen two printers . . . well you are getting the picture. I made this all work by buy a really nice black Sauter file cabinet. I also have a long work table on one side . . . another computer and printer and gaming stuff. Also, there was no room for my keyboard and mouse. I bought a black plastic (sturdy) tray for my keyboard and mouse and attached it . . . I added fabric baskets for the shelves which work and look great. It's perfect now . . . but the desk by itself (while nice) is for maybe a laptop or small computer . . . Just be prepared that you may need to keep buying things to make it all work right. ... show more

Sorry for the clutter in the picture, my office is full of stuff haha. My girlfriend assembled it all while I was asleep, so I would say it's nothing too incredibly hard. I'm glad I got the bigger of the two choices, it's got so much room! I don't even know what to do with all this room haha but I'm excited knowing I'll never be cramped at my work space again. It seems pretty sturdy from what I've seen so far, and has quality materias (as far as my knowledge goes). The leg room is amazing, my girlfriend can lay on the floor under it and I can still sit at it just fine. I can't say much for the foot rest, I can't really reach it but there's honestly room to put your own small footrest if you wanted. I'm extremely happy with it, and absolutely recommend it. If you're unsure of it, I'd say go for it. I was iffy about the price but for the size and space, not to mention the shelves, I'd say it's definitely worth it. ... show more

I shopped for weeks for an appropriate desk for my office. I knew I needed an L-shape, but wanted to avoid the 90-degree corner where the two tops come together. This one provides a comfortable 45-degree angle to join the two sections and allow me to center myself, facing the corner of my office. I have a 34-inch monitor in the center, a 27-inch monitor on one side, and my 17-inch laptop on a stand on the other side. My work station is awesome. The finish is holding up and I have purchased two additional furniture pieces from the same manufacturer to finish furnishing my office. I have nothing negative to say. It went together easily and is holding up well. It is important to note that you will need to install your own cable management system, as this unit does not have an integrated solution.
