solid built to last
mechanic here: great install, dana 44 on rubicon gladiator 2022, top joint has a slight angle had to get creative with the press set i have, but overall very simple fast job. and boy these joints are nice, they even have a tension ring that you can tighten overtime as the joints naturally wear out to keep them stiff, what an engineering marvel. anyway rides smooth as butter now had a few clicks when turning originally as the factory set wore out. these are solid

Death Wobble Be Gone
These ball joints made my day. I have a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JLU Rubicon V6 and it had been suffering from the dreaded death wobble issue. I went to three different shops, and they all gave me advice on what needed to be replaced so I followed their advice. However, nothing they suggested completely resolved my DW problem and I went to two different off-road shops and a Jeep dealership. Before experiencing DW, I added a Mopar lift. Once I started experiencing the DW issue, I installed front and rear adjustable track bars. Next, I installed a new Synergy tie rod and drag link. Also, I installed a new steel steering gear box which was recommended by the dealership and an off-road shop. The parts reduced the frequency of DW but did not fully cure the problem. After doing much research, I came a across an article on a Jeep forum that mentioned the OEM ball joints in 2018-19 Jeeps are not very good. They use a metal on plastic architecture which doesn't last long especially if you have over sized tires or spacers. Who buys a Jeep without adding larger tires or spacers? Anyway, I mentioned to the dealership that this may be the issue and they told me that the ball joints had nothing to do with the DW issue. Regardless, I took a leap of faith and purchased these TeraFlex ball joints based on quality and affordability. I must say they did not disappoint. They are made very well, much better than the OEM ball joints. The greatest thing of all is that I have not experienced one death wobble incident since I installed them. Before I would I have to pull over 3 times if I drove 10 miles anywhere. These are well worth the price. I installed them myself and it was my first-time installing ball joints. They are a little difficult to install but any install for ball joints would not be easy.

Well made Terraflex product
Make sure to watch the video on the Terraflex site before you get started. The ball joints are directional and not the same length. Great build quality, easy installation (if you know how to install ball joints in the first place) and they made my JL drive like a new vehicle at 73k miles. You'll want an alignment after they are installed.

Great replacements for stock
Solid ball joints! Alittle tough on the install unless you have the right tools. Fixed my death wobble and seems sturdy.

Excellent Ball Joint Upgrade for JL/JT
2022 Jeep Gladiator, 38x13.5 inch MT Baja Pro Xs tires. With only 9k miles. The puny, non-serviceable factory ball joints just didn’t hold up (4th photo shows a factory ball joint.) Packaging was excellent. The install was easy, the included instructions were very comprehensive, and included torque specs for everything that had to be reinstalled after the ball joints. Took about 3 hours to complete install. The grease fittings are easy to service on the vehicle and the preload adjustment is as well. The ball joints even came with the tool to make the on-vehicle preload adjustment with. These are an excellent value and definitely better than what came from the factory.

Received Damaged product customer service no help
Honestly seemed like a great product. But the one issue I had is I got a set of 4 and 1 was damaged at the threads and where the grease fitting goes. Of course it would be the last one I went to install. I contacted customer service for Tera flex. The reply I got was not reasonable take 3 good ones back off and return them. Buyer beware check them closely before install.
