I'll be honest...I was impressed from the moment I opened the shipping box. The backpack was fully wrapped in a thin, foam-like material that clearly provided good protection against any abrasion, which was then sealed in a clear plastic bag to prevent moisture penetration. Upon unwrapping, I found that all the leather zipper pulls were individually wrapped in the same foam-like material mentioned earlier (pictured), which prevented abrasions against the metal zipper teeth during shipping. And the zippers, themselves, are excellent...very smooth action and relatively quiet. The external material is very nice...similar to the material used for standard backpacks, except the weave if much, much tighter, resulting in a much smoother surface than a standard backpack. The shoulder straps attachment points appear to be very sturdy with significant additional stitching. The out-facing side of the shoulder straps have the same tightly weaved material as the backpack body, but they have much more breathable mesh material on the body-contact side of the shoulder straps. Moving on to inspection of the interior is where I truly recognized that this was a very high-quality product. First thing I did upon unzipping was the "sniff test"...there was not even a hint of any odd odors from the manufacturing process or off-gassing of any materials. Though these types of odors typically fade away after several days, it was a pleasant surprise to not have it at all. The interior stitching is where I was sure I'd find the veil of high-quality lifted...but to my surprise, I was wrong! Average backpacks, without fail, will have stray or loose threads in the interior stitching. You know, the kind that you pull and realize you just undid an inch of stitching that will inevitably be the starting point for integrity failures, holes and/or eventual destruction. Not this backpack! I very carefully inspected every seam, every stitch, every interior pocket, and I found not a single stray thread or loose stitch! This just blew me away! Every backpack I've ever owned from high school through all the backpacks I've had in adulthood (and as an IT professional, I've had probably over a dozen backpacks in my 30 year career), and all the backpacks my kids ever had, have had a few of these or many more. The quality control on this item is simply better than I've ever seen! Finally, I'll say that the numerous pockets, pouches, compartments, etc. are really great...I like to keep things organized in my backpack, so these work really well for me. Also, for the first time, I can store my water bottle inside, and there's a pouch inside that keeps it upright and tucked to the side. And that extra strap to keep the backpack on top of my suitcase by sliding over the handle...that will be a requirement for any future backpack of mine...very handy! If the look of this backpack appeals to you, I highly recommend you give it a try...I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Honestly one of my favorite backpacks out of any I've used. The material inside is soft but not cheap or flimsy feeling, same goes for the outside. The straps aren't the best feeling, but they don't feel bad, just average. I love how many pockets and nooks there are to fit items in, and it has more room than I really use day-to-day. The bag itself feels sturdy and you'd be surprised how much it fits given its size. There isn't much to say about the bag, it isn't super special but it excels at what it does and I would highly recommend it

I carry my 16-inch MacBook Pro everywhere-and I also rely on my 14-inch MBP for work. I needed a backpack that could comfortably fit a larger device without feeling like I was lugging around a giant, bulky bag. The TENSTAR Laptop Backpack fits the bill. Despite being marketed as a women’s bag, its sleek and modern design is refreshingly unisex, making it a great choice for anyone who values both style and practicality. As another reviewer says: it's great for a tall male (6'1). It's just the size of a 16in MBP with a tiny bit of padding on the back and good padding on the shoulders. Holds my stuff, doesn't make me look like a fool... Good deal. That'll absolutely do the job on my upcoming trip abroad. What really stood out to me is its smart organization. With well-thought-out compartments and dedicated pockets, I can neatly stow away my laptops, accessories, and even say a change of clothes without any clutter. The design not only maximizes space for a 16-inch device but also keeps everything easily accessible-exactly what I needed for both work and travel. There are almost too many pockets! (there are inside pockets inside each compartment! Somehow doesn't look busy but there's a ton of segmentation in there to organize your stuff!) The comfortable padded straps and breathable back panel are definite pluses, ensuring that even on days when I’m carrying extra items, the load is well distributed and manageable. Overall, this backpack perfectly balances the need for extra capacity with a clean, fashionable look that works just as well for men as it does for women. NOTE: first picture has my MBP 16in - fits perfectly. you can't see it but there's actually a tablet right in front of it. There's plenty of room in the front, but it's still not bulky (like wide) somehow. Second picture is immediately after unwrappying. It doesn't look as good but once fluffed back up it's pretty neat. Maybe the iphone cam doesnt do justice but the colors are less pale. And at that stage, I haven't removed the polyester protection on the ziper things which are all leather. Thing looks good - and I'm quite difficult with backpacks .

It has plenty of room and several pockets to organize everything. It seems very durable. I removed a star because I was not a fan of the material. It seems like it would be water resistant and easy to clean. I just prefer more canvas style.
