This battery matched the exact spec for my Shark ION DuoClean vacuum, but I found that that the battery did not snap in as easily as the original OEM battery. It required great force to secure it in the vacuum. Otherwise, it simply fell out. It seems to work ok once in the sweeper, so I did not return it. Also, I found the same issue with the charger - does not snap in easily, requiring a lot of force before it will start charging.     • Rejuvenator for your Shark vacuums
This LiOn battery performs well in replacing my original Shark batteriers. Its form and fit accommodate the Shark battery slot in the vacuum and the Shark LiOn battery charger. I did find it more difficult to release the battery out of the vacuum. This may be due to the four rubber-like discs on the top side of the battery. The discs may serve as a cover cap. The rubber-like material causes it to have more grip making it more difficult to slide out. The original battery has recessed cover caps of plastic -- not a gripping surface. Electrically, this battery has more power: 75.6W vs 61.7W at the same 25.2 voltage. This battery has greater amp-hours: 3000AH vs 2.45AH. This battery has safety registration markings on its label; the original Shark battery had none but it does have a serial number for tracking purposes should there be a need. This replacement battery has no visible serial number. Performance-wise it may not give you more battery life while vacuuming, but it gives more vacuuming power for your old vacuum cleaner enabling the old to perform a little like new -- more vigor. ... show more

After I received the battery, I put it in my flex vaccuum. It only lasted about 5 minutes and shut down. Recharged it, and again it ran out of charge.     • Good Battery for Shark Vacuum
Bought this to have a second battery for our Shark Duo Clean that's probably four years old now. The battery seems to charge as fast as the original, last as long as the original, and the vacuum seems to have the same power it has with the original battery pack. The battery pack casing looks almost identical to the original. The only difference I noticed, is when you put the original battery on charge immediately after using it, it goes into a protection mode until it cools down, then begins to charge. This battery will just begin charging, even if it's hot. I'll just wait a few minutes after using before putting it on charge. ... show more

This works for my cordless Duo which is older ( 5 or 6 years.) I tend to do bursts of cleaning and usually the battery is not full when I get the urge to clean. Having a 2nd battery allows me to have one charged at all times. This seems to be the same as the original battery.
