great product. if you are looking for minimalist design, and still good protection all around, this is a good case for you. the leather (not sure if real) looks nice on the back, provides good grip, and the rubber kind of material around the edges and the buttons provides good protection. overall, i am happy with my purchase. UPDATE on 4/27/2019: After using this case for 2.5 years, the leather started coming off the sides but the case is still solid, and it protected my phone so many times when I dropped it. I just wanted to put this update here to mention how I appreciate the quality of this item with its protection without being bulky. On a separate note, I searched for another case (because of the leather coming off eventually after years of use) and I bought a wooden design case. I received it, and while replacing this case with the new one, I noticed that the new one I bought is the same brand as this one! That is what made me come back and put this update here, this company should be one of the best in phone cases, it can't be a coincidence that I picked (after some good research) their product in two separate instances, and they both turned out to be great products!     • Good Fit and Price...
Received the case on time with no problems. The fit is good and it looks nice. Note, the product information notes this is PU leather, and I didn't bother to look up what this really meant. Here is what I found: "Synthetic patent leather (also known as bycast leather, split leather or PU leather) is a split leather with a layer of polyurethane applied to the surface and then embossed. Bycast was originally made for the footwear industry and now widely adopted by the furniture industry. The resulting product is cheaper than the top grain leather and has an artificially consistent texture that is easier to clean and maintain. Modern technology allows up to three or four horizontal layers that are taken from the skin. The leather used in the back of synthetic patent leather is a secondary layer that remains after the top layer has been removed." So, of course when I received the case, I picked it up to smell it, expecting it to smell like leather, but it doesn't. Well the above explanation tells me why. So I am assuming it is what the manufacturer says it is. Ultimately, for the price, it fits well, the covers over the side buttons seem to work well and the price is right. So I will keep it- at this price, what was I expecting- Coach?!! If I need to replace it in year or two.. who cares?? ... show more

    • Pretty Much Exactly What I Wanted

It was hard to tell from online photos whether this case was going to be what I hoped, but when it arrived I was delighted to find that it was pretty much exactly what I hoped for. I started out with an Incipio case on my iPhone 8 (the phone was new and the Incipio was a stopgap case) but while it was solid and probably would be effective protecting the phone if I dropped it, I didn't really care for the rubbery heavy feel of it, also the buttons were difficult to push. The Tendlin case, on the other hand, has a really nice faux leather look and feel, and is much lighter and less "chunky." I keep my phone in my shirt pocket and the Tendlin case slips in and out easily and weighs less. The overall conservative look is simpler and more "elegant" which suits me fine. The buttons are much easier to press as well. I'm guessing the Tendlin may not provide as much protection if the phone gets dropped, so I will need to be careful. But in the end, I'm really glad I took a chance and got this Tendlin case. It's exactly what I wanted. ... show more

I bought it for the iPhone 8, and it fits it perfectly. It gives the phone a refined look. Product is solid, has a nice feel to it. Bends easily to allow you to get on your phone. It does leave a little lip about the screen to protect the screen if landing face down. Product came with a screen wipe and a screen protector, which I did not know, it was a nice added bonus. THIS CASE ALLOWS WIRELESS CHARGING!! I feel like this feature isn't advertised enough. I'm using the RAVPower Fast Wireless Charger for iPhone X / iPhone 8 / 8 Plus QI Wireless Charging Pad for Galaxy S8 Note 8 and All Qi-Enabled Devices (QC 3.0 Adapter Included) and this case will allow wireless Qi charging through it. ... show more

I did really like this case, my only problem with it was that it still scratched my phone a little. Not a huge deal but I thought it’d have better protection in that sense. It is really cute though and durable considering it’s so light. It has protected my phone from falls and such, but like I said, the only thing I didn’t really like was the that it scratched the phone. ... show more
